Hollister Socal Cologne Review

i have had this cologne for at least more than 3 months and my bottle isn't even empty yet. i get compliments most of the time from the ladies. the cologne smells almost the same from the ones they spray at the store, but this one isn't that bold. thanks for the review, it really helped.

Its not a terrible cologne...But if your going to get a cologne from Hollister get Jake, it is the best no doubt a very good cologne that women love.

@footballjockpass Hollister scents tend to be lighter and less musky than A&F scents. It all comes down to personal preference, but I think there are better "strong" colognes than A&F, so I stick with hollister

@footballjockpass Exactly the same thing. Hollister is owned by Abercrombie. I'd say Abercrombie is more mature and respectable than Hollister, though.

HCO22 = crap.

SoCal = Very nice.

Jake = kinnda like bugspray at first, but get's better the longer you leave it on.

California = too fruity for my taste.

Epic = Only spelt it once, it was just okay.

HCO22 smells too much like the alcohol base. The light citrus scent is lost in all the alcohol.

And yes, it's only sold at the Epic store...which I went to a few days after it opened. Nothing to rave about, as much as I can remember, it was just decent.

Have you ever tried Ruehl No. 925 Signature Cologne? It's SOOO good. better than A&F and HCO. I have like 4 bottles cause Ruehl is going out of business.

I work at Hollister in the Monmouth Mall (Jersey Shore area) and i can tell u that if u want to test the HCO22, u can ask for it up at the register. All hollister stores have seperate samples behind the counter, you just have to ask for it. Same goes for the betty's Ryder Perfume. We do this because they get stolen easily and because there smaller.
