he did because he thought erveryone had problems in their lifes because of him. Then his mom had another child(the other baby)and an husband(that man),tommy and kayleigh stayed with their mom and they had great life too,tommy became a good guy and his sis married with a good guy too.=)hope u understood,if u don't sry =S at least i tried^^
