@SolKingGutiar98 well... i think first of all i tried to develop the speed in the picking. for that i get riffs like wasted years (iron maiden), stratosphere (stratovarius), those one in the intro. after reaching a good speed at the picking, i've tried to apply those fast picking at goind up and down scales (from greek modes), shredding. well i think that's all, close enough xD good training man

@SolKingGutiar98 how i learned was to play any 3 notes, {doesnt have to be a scale}, on each string, go all the way down the strings vertically, and decend back up. pick fast but move fingers slow, and do this to a metrenome. after you get the notes clean to that tempo at least 3 time in a row. bump up the tempo, and repeat. you can do the same for sweeping. but this always works. all shredders say that they used metrenomes to practice,

@Ireland609 Maybe so but Buckethead plays abstract stuff that I and a lot of others can't get into. Now if Buckethead were more MUSICAL sounding instead of INTELLECTUAL sounding it'd be different. Shawn Lane could probably outplay BOTH if he were here, but he'd get to abstract at times as well. He was a FANTASTIC guitarist but I can listen to about 30% of his work because he'd get so far out there and start SOUNDING "unmusical". Yngwie plays to fast a lot but with a MUSICAL AND MELODIC FLOW.

Yes and no. I've been playing on and off 10 years, and I never got any good until recently. Because I wasn't practising. Now I do nothing but practise. And I've done so for about a year. I still have not mastered it, but I'm definitely getting a lot better at an alarming rate. Years and years of dedication, maybe you could master it. But I think true mastery takes a lifetime. You can never stop learning.
