  • @SamarpanNepal it's called Dherai Maya Dida Raichhan by Swroop Raj Acharya. Actually these guys are singing much beautifully than him.

  • @cmpokhriyal I'm pretty sure they call it sarangi. Maybe a local person could answer better than I can.

  • @punchjudy Yes, they are playing Sārangī (Hindi: सारंगी, Punjabi: ਸਰੰਗੀ, sarangī).

    The sarangi is a traditional stringed musical instrument of Nepal.

  • @bluelotus4me did you record this piece? it's really beautiful and impressive. It reminds me of hardship of people, sad part of a story though.

  • @cmpokhriyal its called Sarangi, and the people playing it(and singing) are called Gaine.

  • this year,maybe my college is gonna organize a tour to Darjeeling n i'm pretty much sure that i will meet them and if possible,sing a song together. i guess i'll take a video,too...it's so good to feel for...i salute'em up..Hail Nepal!(jai Nepal)...

  • personally,i'm also very much fond of singing and really sing good.hehe..i'm not lying,and i know how difficult is this song to sing it in 1 take or at a breathe..hey! i've watched some of the videos of these streetsingers n i really appreciate da way they unitedly sing and have good synchorisation..
