It's hard to explain, but we'll start by comparing the fact that the Ferrari has, say, a glass engine cover to reveal its beautiful purpose built hand-built engine, whereas the Corvette has a sticker on the bonnet where a run of the mill Chevy V8 has been dropped in and supercharged.
