Rachmaninoff's soul stirring song is sung with the deepest reverence, majesty,

and stunning heartfelt beauty of which the Ensemble is justly famous. The

warm palette of vocal colors and textures rises and falls in an organic

crescendo like a giant wave touching Heaven and Earth in its prayerful

plea with the voices of many sounding as one. Thank you Misha for this

glorious performance.

Such a beautiful rendition of Rachmaninoff's work. It is very touching and goes straight to my heart. Thank you for posting this. I am also impressed by the minimal but effective direction by Yuri Ukhov. He seems to be one with the Ensemble. Thank you again. I listened on a Sunday morning and it seemed like a prayer.
