Nice presentation on your part. Always a question when we tell our parents, but they MORE often than not still love us and accept us. Times are changing fast. What a blessing the internet has been for us. Your personality helps get your comments across.
life is so unfair for gay people..in my country maybe they dont kill gay people as in islam countries but still i am not able to live as normal as "str8" people do!there will always apear something that will do things unfair...
i told my parents that i am gay at 16..they both believe that i have a problem and also my "dad" told me to leave from the house aftrer finish the scool..
I totally agree with pvampire, Ur doing a great/Amazing Job, I told my mom and dad and My dad accepted it my mom not really she never talked 2 me for 2-3 months just froze me right out, but now she talks 2 me but I still wonder deep down inside is she ok with it? Ummmm.
Well done. I liked your emphasis on your coming out as a very small revision of you. As a homosexual guy myself, I understand well what you mean, and you couldn't have said all this better.
wow... OK Machelli you already know i have a YouTube crush on ya... cuz you're so dang sexy! but i continue to be enlightened and entertained by your showmanship and your intelligence! thank you...
I love this episode! I especially love the quote of "minor revision". I agree with that wholeheartedly, and thank god my mom was the same way! Good Job! Can't wait to see more episodes!
I'm a straight girl and I found your vids a very good thing, you throw off all stereotyps about gays that medias use to give us (nota: I just watched Will & Grace on TV and the character of the ridiculous gay -don't know his name, annoyed me much too).
your vids are instructive and touching;continue :)
Dude, I have tears rolling down my face right now. I never told my dad and he died. I did come out to my mom though and she took it well. Your doing a great thing here...Please don't stop!
WOW great job my parents were cool with it but it took them some time to get used to it lol im lucky also and it takes such a load off yur shoulders / but can open new challenges also
Wow, my parents didnt understand as well the concept of being homosexual. They had to get away for a day after I came out to my aunt's place because her son is too. Funny how parents first reaction are similar in many cases.
Dang, my mom found my emails. And then she wouldn't talk to me for a few days. And then crying, screaming...until about a week ago. After three years she gave me the advice "I realize you'll be going to college soon, and considering the area we live in it's probably the first time people will be available that....you're interested in. Just remember that the most important thing is that they make you happy." It's nice to have the gap bridged between us again.
amazing video matt. I wish I came off as sincere and composed in my videos as you do in yours. I too love the revision of me line. your an incredible writter and it comes through in your videos
''also I'm gay'' lol funny as always. great vid matt.
your step-father said something very wise. ''nothing about the person she knew is going to change.'' I just wish all parents would think like that! you've been blessed with an understanding family.
Ahahah, "And I think your mom's blueberry jam sucks a big, fat c..." Oh, man. Have to put the drinks down before watching your videos. Spit-takes are bad for the keyboard...
WOW the featured video on the right is "Why Homosexuality Should Be Banned"

Hahaha, you have a good sense of humour. :P
I also like that you're not one of those people who started to act EXTREMELY girlish after they told people about their sexuality.
Anyways, keep it up! :)
