Its unfortunate for ALL in the golf world that Deane Beman kept Seve from competing more on the PGA tour. It was a policy of minimum events that was pretty much made to force Seve to choose a tour (hopefully the PGA), and it backfired on Deane. Seve had a game that could have and did inspire many US golfers as well as Europeans.
