The sub is wired to 2 ohms. I actually didnt buy it. I purchased a blown one online, and took it in and exchanged it. I had a warrenty on 2 type R's there. SO i just exchanged it... lol There are always ways to beat the system!!

With Alpine HUs you should set your Sub level to +15.
Don't buy Alpine Subs from Best Buy. They are overpriced there.

not if you have an employee buy it for you, then it's only... lemme check my recepit... 105 plus tax :D
I only paid 185 for a Rockford Amp wiring kit, Bassworx ported box, and 12" Type R

yes i agree with this statement. that is unless you work there and get the at cost i paid 94.00 for each one of my tens check out my setup

This Type R came from Best Buy. Picked it up on 10/9/08
