Creative. It's like a missing chapter of monty python on a smaller scale. Excellent visual quality, funny script, but the audio on the voices seems a bit radio-esque. Little things like effects on the dragon's voices and a few slight pitch changes might have done it some good. Very nice though.
WOOT awesome video, the only stop film ive seen the megablocks dudes in too. Im thinking about making a giant battle with them. I used to collect them from the very start i got tons of them, lots of dragons, two ships, and tons of people and weapons. (i think the old ones look better than the new ones)
All my films on YouTube are shot at 15 frames per second. When I first started brickfilming in 2005 I used 10 frames per second until I was comfortable enough to switch over.
To do that bit, I stood Beetroot on some bricks, then took a picture without him in it. Then I placed the first pic overtop that (in the Gimp), erased the bricks, and used a brush tool to paint in a shadow.
What programs did you use. Sorry that i ask this at almost every video but i' am thinking of things to put on my christmas list and cheap software would be one!
I used Monkeyjam (which is free) to capture the images, Videomach (which is free) to compile the images, and DDCLIP Free to put the sounds in. I really need to invest in some decent programs. :P
I was on a deadline, so on some of the closeups I went with minimal animation. If I was to make the film over again, that's the main thing I'd change.
A very imaginative and original film. The animation is good for a simple film. The story is simple but with a very funny ending. Overall, i give it 5/5 !

I'm saying about at 2:01 that you used the GIMP to make Beetroots jump. Did you use a stick on his head for the bottom sahdow this time?
