The Buccaneer was discontinued by Chrysler for some time, but I understand that they are now back in production. Any idea who is building it?

Chrysler got out of the boat business around 1980....the buccaneer however was sold and has never been out of production. They are currently built by Nickels Boat Works in Michigan...we have an active racing class right now and are expecting 50 boats at our 40th championship regatta this June

The Mutineer production has been on and off, but is now on again, Nickels also owns those molds and have begun production. You can order either a new Bucc or Mutt custom built to your specs...I'm expecting my new Bucc in the next month or two!
