I love this game. Is there a way to make a treaty to help a countries corruption? I want to help S. America but I don't know what treaty would be exceptable. I also have another question. How do you get the missile defense system to have more then one missile when 1000's of nukes are coming at you? Does anyone have any good suggestions or hints as usa?

Every time I am US. THe first thing I do is change everything. I go democratic. Take over North Korea (If playing MP I give all of NK to SK.) I invade mexico for not fixing its shit. I give money to Colombia causing good relations = hot sexy Colombians. Give Marshall Island's a new island called Guam. Make US and Russia friends. Then pretty much making English Official, Protestant Official.

Hey I got this game and I can't find a damn way to pressure a country into siging a country. When i set alliance with Russia I look at my pressure bar or box and its greyed out how do i use Pressure plz somone help. thank you

@shadowhunter388 forget pressure it has no/very limited effects on treaties. if you want an alliance with some where right click go to thmatical maps and diplomatic relations, any counrty with above 60 realtion will be your ally. giving money, land and fighting on there side in wars will improve this number. but annexing and going to war with anywere will decrease it. also make sure you the same govoment type as them.

Also How do you conquer the world? How do you keep your econmey from failing? And how do you avoid ww3 when your trying to take over the world?

WIth USA its very easy, but to me its pretty hard with other countries.

@ali7725 to start with i sort my econamy out and then i get us to attack iraq and i join in. then i take some of iraq making sure i have a border with iran. i next get the us to attack iran which i join in on again and take as much land as possible. i then get the getting the us to atack more places.

ok on the v1.0 of the game there isin't a "request war" tab. And how can I manage my econmics? when I play US I put global tax mod at 100% and I get trillons of dollars. it doesn't work so good in other countries. please help me with this.

@ali7725 dont us the global tax mod. you have to go onto economy tab and where it says you balance option click the moreinfo tab at the top. there will be loads of bars put them to the left until you get a decent amount of poitive money coming in. you can also set the tax rate on one of the other tabs there.

by the time they take iran you should be able to make them take your debt

Why does patch 1.4 contain a trojan? Makes me not want this game, I have vista 64 but i'm wondering why the developers would put a trojan in their own game, anyone know?

@biagiotti2006 the trojan doesnt do anything i think they must of had a scripting error or summat because it harmless as far as i know.

Your computers' Anti-Virus Systems thing that joshua.exe is a trojan horse virus due to it trying to access to the internet and your harddrive.

whats your Anti-Virus? Avg has been known to pick that up as a false positive. Also AVG also for some people using Vista will keep you from playing the game. I just say switch to Avast! :D

I played this game and when i reinstalled it and downloaded the 1.4 patch it dont work cuz it says that it cant find some joshua file and there says its an microsoft office file LOL i wanna play :( i got XP by the way could u help me?

1)uninstal it and reinstal it

2)patch to v1.1 then to v1.2 then to v1.3 then to v1.4

this worked for me. if it still wont work try getting a no cd patch, that worked for my friend who couldnt get it going.

Haha instead of going for Iraq i assassinated, sabotaged and spied on the US until they attacked me then France helped me and together we made US to a war zone xD (of course i annexed the country! D:)

i waited tho, after about 2045 no one has an aliiance so you can just send your troops in without requesting war or anything and people dont evan fight back. i invaded canaa and noone cared it was easy lol.

its awsome but what ever you do dont download the latest patch for it bcause it caontains a tronjan.

itll take a while for you to get used to it but here a few helpfull steps:

1.always sort your economy out first (make it evan)

2.save the game before attacking any country

3.if you attack iraq try to get america on your side

4.dont was you time trying to get a china-russia aliance because it wont happen

5.if you wait until about 2040 (a long time) you should be able to attack anyware as you like

Thanks. I ended up having to download the 1.4 patch because I have Vista. My firewall blocked the joshua.exe file, but otherwise it works great.

Now to prepare the conquest of England by Ireland.

Ive done it a few times. but most of the time my empire gets so big i cant move my army's or navy's without going into debt. when my new pc arrives (im hoping it be tomorrow or Monday) im going to make a chronicle.

its actually easier not to use nukes because when you use nukes evaery where else attacks you.

my suggestion wasnt a strategic one, it was a "what if" question. Could GamersDen22 defeat them? Would this cause the middle east war to be world war? Will Israel strike a deal with the chinese? Lol could the US rise the victor out of this mess it created? I never played this game but it does look pretty neat.
