@SparkReaper23 Unfortunately, at the end of the game, everything gets reset, like nothing happened. No Mephiles, Iblis, or Solaris. So it pretty much retconned itself. I myself wouldn't mind Mephiles being in another game, but, it wouldn't be convincingly possible storyline wise.

Mephiles is probably one of the best villains in the Sonic series. He's rather creepy during some of the scenes, easily manipulates others into doing his will, and actually manages to do something no other Villain has managed to do in the Sonic game series. He actually managed to kill Sonic.

Well basically. In the game he just takes on Shadow's form (note the scene when Shadow goes back in time to seal Mephiles and he says he will always remember Shadow's form), giving him a body to take on Shadow with, etc.

His true form is just that shadowy blob that appears during that same scene, lol. ^^

did anyone else notice at 1:33 that it shows Mephiles has a shadow? And it goes out to the SIDE. Shadow's shadow is no longer touching Mephiles even tho they're in the same spot cuz it got sucked up, bu then it zooms out and shows Shadow has a shadow and it goes out to the side as well.

Did Shadow grow a new shadow? XD And why's it going to the side instead of in front of him where it was before when Mephiles landed in it? o.o

it's like at 1:47 he appears in the distance and turns his head and looks directly at Shadow because he knows he's there, he walks towards him like a dead man zombie, he has snake eyes, plae like he's got no blood, he has no mouth, he constantly changes colors (stripes go grey, blue, purple and his rings go purple, blue, grey or yellow like Shadow's, just look at 1:51 to 1:54

If you looked at the final cutscene when he was killing sonic it was blue

When he was getting the emerald it was purple

Sometimes its hard to tell what color it is (like in showdown with mephiles)

I guess when hes just staring at the ground its the clone, (like in silvers story he was staring at the ground, or showdown with mephiles)

actually in the final cutscene he was navy blue which is the same color as he was when he was fighting Shadow but in the end he turned purple, he was purple with the emerald too before killing Sonic and the screen wasn't purple enough to make him THAT purple, the only cones he made where at the end of Shadow's story.

But in his Shadow form you can look and see his rings and stripes change colors too XD there's no definate one, it's random through out the game.

I think if Mephiles can have gold AND purple rings in the same area at 2 different points in the game when the light is only SLIGHTLY different or not different at all then that's pretty weird because gold and purple are WAY different.
