  • So sorry. Hope things are better now. God bless!

  • Bum Fights: Soccer Edition!

  • This is a pretty nice cause. There are not too many countries that would of thought of such a thing.

  • i agree with machinexe they have money but can't afoord rent

  • Great thing for the community

  • looks like some kind of dubious propaganda to me, if you are REALLY homeless you neither have the time nor the energy nor the health to go to some football game, and its nothing like a normal acceptable circumstance, and what happens afterwards? do you send them "home" to the streets?

  • i watched this to see a fight :(

  • dude just beause some1 is homeless doesnt meen they r always crackheads or bad peaopl u never know stop judging homeless pl im getting sick and tired of homeless pl hetting picked on and all that crap.U better be glad u AT LEAST have a home, over a million ppl homeless and starving and cold while u r inside watching a movie snuggled in a blanket eating popcorn PPL R SELFIS THESE DAYS THINK ABOUT OTHER PPL U CRACK HEADS....and nice video by the way ^-^

  • this is fantastic, i hope it helps many people who are in dire need of it.

  • Nooo its USA just wants to get rid of the Homeless People on there streets so there going to bring them to Australia then leave them there!

  • Americans: please say 'Mel Burn' instead of 'Mel Born'. Thank you.

  • Australians please say "ChaRlie" not "Chahlie". "Okay" not "Okhighay. Thank you.

  • Australians please say "ChaRlie" not "Chahlie" "Okay" not "Okhighay". Thank you.

  • lol...but its good for them

  • Cool I live in Washington.

  • Thats pretty funny but thats kinda retarded about the homeless part of it i giv this a 3/5...

The UtubeCritics: The source of video updates and comments!

  • No special, just mini-football.

  • Winner gets a trophy filled with whiskey

  • thats pretty awesome. this makes me happy.

  • This is great. Soccer strikes again! Soccer is helping a global issue. We Americans Should be happy that we are know taking soccer more seriously=)

  • DAMN IT!!!

SO i need to be HOMEless first? then i can join?

  • this is giving the homeless ppl a chance in life

  • the program pays for the travel.

  • he could of at least said Melbourne properly. :P... Sorry, thats just the aussie in me. Great idea but.

  • if you really wanna make it for the homeless make the goal posts two sticks shoved in the ground and replace the ball with a basket ball. Thats how i used to do it.

  • Get a job!

  • when they say homeless i think they mean living in shelters and stuff. like on finding happines or something with will smith. that boring movie they lived in a shelter for like 2 days. dude said that this dude in shelter so i dont think they live in bathrooms or stuff.

  • aww i like dis dis is good

  • LOL omg u ppl sooo ... LOL

  • None of those people looked homeless to me

  • they dont look as dirty as id think

  • They don't look very homeless.

  • The Homeless cause global warming!

We need a new tax on the homeless to save the earth!

  • Spend their money educating these people, not wasting time playing football.

  • this is amazing !

  • get a home bum

  • So do they play with a ball of old newspaper? When they play does the whole stadium smell like urine? Does the winner get McDonalds and a crown made of beer cans?

  • At least they're doing something healthy. Maybe they will be able to get jobs if they meet people from this. Good video.

  • This tournament looks like a good thing. I'm just wondering how these players can afford to travel to another country... within a year or two years of being homeless? I'm sure there are companies sponsors, etc. helping and that's great. That and how others can join/refer people to the program were the only bits of information I thought were missing from the piece.

  • Agreed. But I do believe the general population really does NOT comprehend the diversity in the types of homelessness out there. Or just what a fine line it is that separates someone from being considered homeless. The actual organization sound like they are shifting the money to the appropriate business that can help people in moving their lives forward... I hope this continues. The economy will get MUCH worse before it gets better.

  • the organization pays for it all.

  • It IS mel-born...

  • this is great

  • lmao

  • Actually, an "Olympics for Crack Addicts" is a good idea. The reason? It gets them to do something POSITIVE and helps them feel USEFUL, helping them break their addiction.

  • wow, ignorance just flows out of your pores.

  • OLYMPICS FOR CRACK ADDICTS GR8 IDEA :)

  • cant get a job without a address

  • NAFTA stole everyones jobs.

  • I agree.

  • lol! (cruader199)

  • I am glad soccer is helping global issues.

    This is fantastic.

  • Homelessness is a Global issue?

Homelessness in the US is due to people being lazy.

People in Burma whose houses have been wrecked by the Cyclone are homeless.

  • alot of homless around my house...its sometimes creepy

  • omg i never knew this existed

  • Oh, that's cool.

What's their training regiment like? A couple pints of whiskey a day, with a brisk foot race to see who can collect the most pop/beer cans from trash receptacles within a specific time frame?

  • That's a cool idea. I was homeless once, for about 13 months. It gave me a way different perspective on homeless people.

  • I opened this up with pretty negative thoughts. But after watching the video I came out feeling pretty good about this idea. A nice idea for all involved.

  • not as interesting as i thought

  • i find this guy kinda stupid for calling it the homeless world cup, it kinda singles them out, and makes them sound like no one else will touch them or sumtin

  • is this real?

  • awesome (: , giving people a chance to succeed!

  • cool!!!!!!

  • this is the stupidest thing i've ever seen

  • yesss awesome

  • i see it in the future...some of these guys will rather drink booze and be lazy than go to practice.

  • If I live with my mom and she owns the house, amd I homelss to play :P?

  • lol

  • Cool!

  • Even homeless people have the Fo-Hawks!

  • cool

  • when they goto Australia for the world cup where are they going to stay in a hotel or on the streets?? I would like to play but im not homeless and that really sucks

  • hah cool

  • Great use of the homoless!

  • nice

  • great

  • thats cool

  • kool

  • Which was the home team? XD

  • thats a great idea to help the homeless

  • great program :D

  • thats awsome:)

  • cool

  • This can't be for real! What's next, hot dog eating contests for the starving? Surely there's a more efficient way to assist the homeless than mini-soccer? And what's with the formerly homeless guy playing? You start off by breaking your primary rule? Well, let's all watch online in December. And no yellows -- after all, they're homeless!

    ARRRGGGGHHH!

  • haha great

  • lol they don't really look homeless with hair spray...

  • hm,okey? ^^

  • Cool!

  • If they win do they get a Home?

ha ha Number 8 is illegal

  • okay am i the only one who thought this was a spoof vid?

    Great Job though.

  • wow! that's a good cause

  • nice!

  • what?

if there homeless how can they afford a uniform that good or even a ball?

  • amazing :)

  • what the heck lol

  • Who cares?

    -DD

  • cool

  • wow ... thats awesome

  • To qualify for the tournament each player must have been homeless for at least 4 months within the past year or currently in a drug recovery program. - I'm amazed there are such requirements haha, for homeless people... Nice program though. And what about everyone else who don't apply? Are they not homeless enough???

  • Does the champion team win ham sandwiches?

  • seems like a great program.

  • lol all the usa black homeless people are black
