  • great tips!

I just wonder is this coconut oil good for my dry skin but I live in tropical country?

    thanks before :)

  • your skin probably stung because of the artifical fragrance. But Extra virgin coconut oil is amazing I use it as a body moisturizer. I love it!

  • @mexifaith I use EVCO as a skin moisturizer too. I had slight issues with the Nutiva brand so I'm trying out Nature's Way right now. I use it like one would lotion pretty much. Makes my skin soo soft. The only thing I wish is that I could get the oil to stay permanently at that semi-melted creamyish consistency when it's just starting to melt, but mine only stays either a solid or a liquid unless prepared before hand. Sux. I might try whipping the oil with shea butter. Have any ideas?

  • can you also use those oils to soften you vagina?

  • I just bought Nutiva virgin cold pressed coconut oil 54oz from Amazon for $24.03 total! That was oil, tax and .99 shipping! Nutiva is a great oil all the way around. Don't just use it on your hair and skin. Ingest up to 3 tablespoons per day. Since using this oil for the past 2 weeks I have more energy, shiny soft hair and my skin is clearing up great!

  • @Watchinthefoolshere I tried Nutiva coconut oil on amazon (also got mine for a great price) a few months ago and don't get me wrong, it was great for cooking, (especially baking cookies) my hair & skin, but for some reason about 2 months after getting it (I got the largest quantity available) It started to have this spoiled/rancid smell as if it were a whole coconut that went bad. I was afraid to use the rest , good thing it wasn't a lot. I'm trying Nature's Way now (also great price on Amazon)

  • I feel as if I'm the only guy watching this video lol.

  • Thank you so-o-o much for the video!

    Now I'm your subscriber :)

  • I use cocoa , butter everyday! and its amazing. definately worth.

  • i eat 1 tsp of virgin coconut oil morning and night. It helps with dry pathes i got on my arms and face. It also help to increase metabolism like losing weight without doing exercise...

  • do u put jojoba oil be forre your foundation???

  • Use skincare harvest body lotion, contain jojoba, coconut, soy, palm extract it is amazing. I am 42 and my skin is amazing! Jojoba for itself is amazing as well I use it for facial make up cleaning, especially during Halloween! It prevents the skin from becoming to oily it also discourages the growth of some bacterial and fungal microbes that would otherwise harm the skin.

  • They sell organic coconut oil at iherb.com

and if your a first time buyer you can get 5 dollars off using this

    code MOH807

    great deal

  • teehee... Sperm Whale

  • how this help your scalp ?

  • i have virgin cocount oil for my hair as opposed to extra virgin..do you know if that makes a difference?

  • Love your makeup! Great vid. I use the Morroccan Oil in my hair but I'm thinking about getting a big ol' jar of coconut oil for hair treatment. Much cheaper, but the Morroccan is awesome but not for skin.

  • woah thats some pricey coconut oil. i just bought some at whole foods for ten dollars, and its organic, extra virgin, and unrefined.

  • Sorry I have another question ^ ^; I have LouAna coconut oil which I bought for like $4 @ Walmart next to the cooking oils aisle. Is there a difference between that and organic coconut oil, in terms of benefits and results? I haven't opened it yet, as I just bought it today but I'm just realizing that everyone keeps saying "extra virgin organic" coconut oil. LouAna says pure coconut oil but not I'm not so sure I want to try it if there's another that people are talking about.

  • @volpe3fuego I would use organic... sounds like u have something process which takes out all the nutrients

  • @volpe3fuego I know the exact brand you are mentioning and no, it's not the same. LouAna's "pure" coconut has been bleached, refined, and deodorized, which as Anne said, kills off all nutrients and benefits it once had. All coconut oil is not equal. 100 percent pure coconut oil should be solid white at room temperature and melt into a clear fragrant oil at below 76 degrees. Using the counter will not do any good whatsoever. Might as well rub canola oil on your face. Organic, extra virgin. period

  • @volpe3fuego I use organic as well, but I says on it that it suits for cooking and beauty :)

  • @volpe3fuego Yes, LouAna is fine... it's not the best, it is refined and not hydrogenated but it is better than nothing. Other CO's are way, way, WAY more expensive than LouAna brand, it depends on how much you want to spend on it.

  • I never blowdry my hair; I always let it dry naturally. I bought some coconut oil today from the grocery store because I wanted to try the oil-pulling technique you + a few other people have done. If I plan to apply some coconut oil to my hair after I shower, is it recommended to just shampoo my hair and not use a conditioner since I'll be using the coconut oil? Also, if I wanted to apply it at night, do I wash it out in the morning or like 20 min after massaging it into my scalp/ends? Thanks!

  • @volpe3fuego depend how dry your hair is... shampoo and see if your hair still feels dry. You can just do 20 min or leave it over night... whatever you prefer =) i've tried both... overnight really makes my hair look oily even after shampoo

  • Hi Anne, I have a natural remedy that I would like you to forward to your viewers via your videos.

Many people buy expensive cleansers for their face and as you know they contain lots of chemicals and are very expensive...here is something you may want to try:

Rose water...make sure it 100% pure rose water. Put some on a cotton ball or cotton pad and then gently apply it on the facea and neck area it will help clear the skin and is very mild and natural.

    Lots of love

    Shaheen

  • @shafaq007 thanks you... that's great!

  • I love using extra virgin, organic coconut oil on my body after I shower! I love the smell and it is REALY good for your body. I use coconut oil the same way anneorshine does, it's Soo versatile. Search up "Super foods - the truth about Coconut" this is what convinced me to get into Coconut oil. Thankyou anneorshine for this video. :)

  • Almond oil is Great as well on the face and body, no clogs or anything, skin glows too!

  • Coconut oil is amazing for hair and skin!

I do eat it in smoothies too to help from the inside too!

  • I have a question. With your experience using the Jojoba oil on your skin, does that really make your skin produce less natural oil? I have severe eczema, so my skin is beyond dry. I would love to use natural oils because I have the same problem with burning my skin if I use normal moisturizers. A reply would mean so much to me. Thank you for this video! :)

  • @choachie150 It's very light so I'm not sure if it will help w/ eczema... I heard it help some ppl... maybe u can try aquaphor mix w/ that.

  • @anneorshine I'm currently using aquaphor alone, and it helps, but it just doesn't seem like it's quite enough moisture. I never thought about mixing it with something, that's a great idea! I've done research on different oils, and jojoba oil is one that I liked by what I've read. I"ve heard that it usually doesn't cause any reactions, which is another plus because I have terrible allergies. Thank you for such a quick reply! I'm a subscriber for sure. Keep up your great videos!! =)

  • I like using olive oil I havent tried jojoba yet and I dont like the smell of coconut oil lol. :) I like ur vids.

  • when you were talking about using it along with sunblock when outside, were you meaning as a tanning oil? not as a sunblock right?

  • @rhiannonblack I use sunblock on really sunny days to protect the skin =)

  • I tried using coconut oil on my scalp, cause my friend said it helps my hair grow longer, but it made my hair greasy the next day. I stopped using it.

  • @mannu859 ofcourse... that's what I do all the time! =)

  • Alot of people think if you have oily skin you can't put these oils on your face. Actually coconut oil is great because it pulls the toxins from your skin. So you might break out for a week or so but that just means it's working.

  • EVOO works pretty well

  • umm ummm ummm ummm like a hundred times haha

  • @Johanlis i noticed that as well, I say umm all the time

  • i always thought it was pronounced "joe-joe-bah" oil lol

  • Lol i dont use any oils or anything :O xD

  • Intelligent and gorgeous!

    xoxoxoxoxoxxoxo

  • Thanks for the info, have tried aloe vera cream? They sell it at GNC, it doesn't really have many ingredients or anything, it's pretty natural.

  • @riptiderobin15 I've tried the gel and it works great on sun burn =)

  • Thanks for the info. It was very helpful. I love coconut scents. If I use the coconut oil on my hair and on my skin, I can have the benefit of the oil and of the scent too.

  • @honumaker1 your welcome =) I love everything coconut too!

  • i love how u give us natural alternatives to things we use on a everyday basis. especially when u dont just tell us about how u use it. but the actual science. ur so smart and pretty!

  • i love how u give us natural alternatives to things we use on a everyday basis. especially when u dont just tell us about how u use it. but the actual science. ur so smart and pretty!

  • @AmhyArtist11 I have combination skin...the jojoba oil doesn't make it extra oily on the oily part of my face. It feels natural. The coconut oil absorb well but does feel a little oily only on the face.
