@s1zzel Heard of a similar, not sure if its the same maker, a 1.4 hook shot, 2 types, one(earlier model) needed a duel mod, guy also made boomerangs believe it or not, and a V2 version that dose not require the duel mod, I don't know if its as long ranged, but its close enough. I have the V2 version installed, just never tested it, been hunting for spider string lol.

How about a cannon using Ghast's fireball for the shot, the construct would be a chamber 3 stone in top line 3 stone in bottom line, flint and steel in centre and other 2 blocks red stone, setting it alight as it leaves the cannon, the base a reverse C of stone with the gap between the C full of gunpowder to fire it out. Finally cannon ball gunpowder in centre with a stone on all 4 sides. Heavy recoil pushes you back 2 squares, cannonballs wouldn't stack.
