I agree with Kyle on this one, Danica didn't prove a lot on the track in Indy, She was in a top team, and only won once, when the guy leading ran out of fuel near the end. Kyle had a decent career in Cup winning 8 races, some in dominating fashion, like Rockingham in 92, and Pocono in 93. He contended for the title in both years, and finished 5th in the final standings both years. He knows, and understands what it takes to win, Kyle's t telling his thoughts, nothing wrong with that.

Yeah, I watched Kyle race on tracks a lot in the 80s and was in Richmond for his first win. Kyle is what he is because his daddy is "the king". I'm sad to say Junior is not far behind him though he will fare better as an owner than Petty will at most other things.

Danica is at best an average driver. She has won 1 race in 114 with 0 IRL Championships. The 1 race she won was not due to driver skill but rather the other drivers ran out or needed fuel. Tony Stewart raced 26 races and won 3 and an IRL Championship. Danica is an average driver with a pretty face. If she were a male driver she would have been fired years ago.

Danica has a good approach. She's taking it slow and coming up to speed. I think if she is lucky enough to nail one setup. To actually feel a good yawing car under her. She may do extremely well.

If we eliminate gender from the equation this isn't out of line in any way. Drivers are expected to perform at the same level whether they be male or female, and if a girl is DNFing and tearing up cars then she should be out of the seat just as fast as a guy would be.

Couldn't agree with him more, and that's not just chauvinism that's fact. She's not Juan Pablo, she's not Tony Stewart, and she's not Dario Franchitti. If she does well then good for her but she hasn't given anyone any reason to believe that she'll see success at the top level of NASCAR when she can't even compete in IndyCar. Even if she only had like 10 wins in IndyCar I'd call that enough success to try her hand at NASCAR but she has 1, and that 1 came by way of attrition.

I can see his point, actually. I think Danica could improve and get the hang of the sport, but it'll only be because a marketing scheme wants to make her fast.
