I just got a 2004 Dakota 4.7L Quad Cab and im lovin' it.

My brother in law has 5 daks. Two mint SRT's, one with NOS/Chip, one stock. Still has his mint 02 4x4 reg cab he bought brand new. Has a beater 01 4x4 reg cab and a 1st gen beater work truck. When his brother shows up in his 1500 ram and I'm there with my 01 2wd reg cab, its dodgetastic.

I just bought a 2001 Dakota sport quad cab, 4.7 with only 52,000 miles on it,, candy apple red,, and like it just came out of the factory,,, I was going to buy a newer silverado,, 2007-08 had a couple I was seriously considering,, till I saw this,, I saved a pile of cash,,and got a truck that I always wanted,, the silverado will come another day

the new ones are garbage, my mom had a 01 never had problems and she drove it hard, so i got one thinking its a good buy, mines a 2008 and its absolute trash, i have a friend with a 2006, we both had to use the warranty on the upper end of the motor for knocking, we both had our transitions go out and mine blow a hole out the side, we both had the main valve on the brakes fall a apart (caused a fire under his hood) i hit a speed bump at 30 and busted welds on the front suspension, plus more crap
