Moore was concerned with Cuba's health system, not its state security practices - as far as I know, his film also deals sympathetically with the UK health system, though I'd hardly think Moore is a fan of Tony Blair.

Perhaps we should all start opening community, friends, or family healthcare bank accounts. We should put all the money, that would initially go to corporate American healthcare, into huge savings accounts. This way, we know that the money could sit in the bank, maybe gather interest, and be there for us when and if needed. Power to the people!

According to an article on wikipedia about "Healthcare", Afghanistan and Iraq have universal healthcare that is funded by the U.S. Very ironic. The federal government pays for the universal coverage for two other countries but not its own.

But also Moore does have some points about how the health care system is in need of change. It's just that saying health care in Cuba is better doesn't make sense. Even if it is better in Cuba, the doctors are less trained and the medical facilities aren't as good. It's a communist country, of course basic needs will be taken care of. But then again the people don't have any freedoms either.
