I was an extra in this movie,and let me tell you,this isn't a typical role you'd expect David to have. It's a great movie with a great script and great cast. I had a blast hanging out with Bijiou and David and the rest of the cast.

@GraveyardKing666 I know! I know! Total agreeance! That's why I liked it! David, as I tell him, and the whole You Tube world that he shows a very different side of him than we've ever seen! That's what's remarkable about this film! And now with all his marital problems being made public, "The Land of the Astronauts" seem strangely prophetic. I hope he and Courtney get everything sorted out. I wish them both the best.

Great interview! I haven't seen "Land of the Astronauts" yet, but I really do hope it has the same vibe that David's early independent films had such as "Johns".

lol You really want him to get an Oscar nom. I'd hope so too someday, I just hope his dramatic roles aren't overlooked. I also hope the same for Courteney since she was totally snubbed by the emmys this year. ;D

@arquettefan Well, he really does go in a different direction with this role and I hope he continues. Sean Penn can't get ALLLLL those parts, can he? He's in the mold,now, which will surprise many.
