  • SHIMA SHREDDER!!!

  • @kisukehatake210 @TheBazman111 Thanks, haven't heard of them. Will take note and listen to them when I can.

  • Great instrumental!

  • beautiful music

  • Versailles, Galneryus, Onmyouza, X Japan and now Concerto Moon. Are there any others I am missing? Please tell me. :D

  • @Atlaned Ark Storm, HIZAKI grace project. NoGoD and VII-Sense could interest you too.

  • @TERUKlCHl I listen to Hizaki grace project and NoGod. The other two I shall definitely check out.

NoGod are very talented musicians but they lack in showing it which annoying and their recent stuff I am not too keen on.

    Thanks man!

  • @Atlaned Well, NoGoD are able to write totally annoying songs if they want to. But I like them.

Be carefull with VII-Sense, maybe you should check out their songs "Revelations" at first.

Maybe you could try Jikuu Kaizoku Seven Seas too, if you don't know them already.

  • @TERUKlCHl They sound very good, I especially like the song 'Black Bird'. The other band I am not too keen on though. Thanks for all the recommendations! :)

  • @Atlaned Sex Machineguns, Terra Rosa, Eizo Sakamoto , Ark Storm , Akira Takasaki , Circuit V. Panther, Galactica Phantom, Gaia Prelude just a few more awesome bands

  • @visualkeirockstar Thank you, I shall check them out. :)

  • @Atlaned Loudness and SIGH perhaps?

  • @Atlaned Lost horizons, dragon gurdian, bow vow 44 magnum

  • man this sounds so sick!!!

it also sounds easy but being neo classical i bet its goin to be a challenge....so now time to go learn this song!!

  • @lilwillcool the begining riff is easy :)

  • They're all great guitarists.

  • I'd do to Japan JUST to watch these guys live.

  • solo is too unplayable

i will theow my guitar away :(

  • Amazing!!!

  • i clicked like buton as many times as the guitar notes as

    my mouse is broken :(

  • Blown away!

  • awesome song...cheers from atlanta

  • I think that somehow VERSAILLES was kinda influenced by Concerto Moon, and this band also shows some Malmsteen influences as well

  • @Daver869 I'll check this band Versailles out. Do they have some instrumentals?

  • @EricIetsugu check out SILENT KNIGHT and Desert Apple

  • \m/(-L-)\m/ long live the metal

  • beginning: RIOT thundersteel.

  • @BroadswordTULL At least I'm not the only one who thought is sounded similar. I wouldn't liken it to that though, it uses the same notes, but not the same pattern, it may happen pretty often considering it's a note pattern using empty strings.

  • Awesome. I lost this band 5 years ago and i've been going insane lately because i couldnt remember the name. Im so happy now. I especially remember the song "Change my heart" too bad Youtube doesnt have a decent version of that one.

  • This is amazing but the intro is completely Thundersteel by Riot. That's ok, they're incredible so it doesn't matter.

  • Ouin ben cette chanson là torche des culs

  • I must say something made me think they were japanese before I read the description x.x

  • i love metal so much the only genre i listen to and study and i love every band i pass by so far but DF has got to be one of the worst horrible excuse for a band first of all herman li ?? is garbage he cant even compose he's own solo's he uses scales in like every song he's rhythm guitarist better than him he's drummer .... omg plays the same shit over and over so please Dragonforce is not even together anymore singer left drummer is gone and herman li is a garbage player then suck live

  • @stringsin you talk shit they are still together with a new singer and go a new drummer and herman li is a god like guitarist fast technical melodic and very skilled and they are AWESOME live seen the 20 times they get better and better live dragonfor are the gods of power and a truly great metal band.

  • @stringsin you talk shit they are still together with a new singer and go a new drummer and herman li is a god like guitarist fast technical melodic and very skilled plus he can compose his own solos and he's has done on all there albums he been awarded metal guitarist 2 years in a row he cant be and is not shit , plus they are AWESOME live seen them 20 times they get better and better live dragonfore are the gods of power and a truly great metal band.

  • neoclassical?? I had a presentation about neoclassical art at school LOL This is really awesome!

  • @wertyhDA Yeah, that's the way they call themselves, it all started with Yngwie Malmsteen. Don't ask me why? :D

  • @EricIetsugu YOu are wrong. All started with Richy Blackmore

  • @lobitoldkx1 Ritchie Blackmore is one of my heroes, Burn by Deep Purple is my favourite song of all time.

  • @EricIetsugu I hope you're aware of the 74' California Jam. Very cool.

  • @lobitoldkx1 You are wrong. Neoclassical started with classical music around the 50s-60s where "neo" means "new". The newer classical composers are inspired by older classical music, using it as inspiration for new music wich incorporated baroque-music from the 1600s and classical music from wien, around 1650 and so on.

  • @CobHatecrewNor you win

  • @EricIetsugu it didn't start with that ass muncher malmsteen, it started with uli jon roth, richie blackmore who was malmsteen's teacher btw, michael shenker they are the true pioneers of neo classical metal.

  • @powerslave887 hes not malmsteens teacher....blackmore didnt even like yngwie, bc he said malmsteen was tryin to copy him....i agree that roth, schenker, and blackmore started it but yngwie took it to a new level and really took shredding to its peak

  • @wertyhDA ......i love Michael Orlando

  • This is amazing! I could totally run through as Lu Bu on Redhare cutting a swathe in hundreds of foes listening to this song! Glad I found this!

  • fuck'n great !!

  • Can anyone send me the lyrics for "holy child" ?????

  • oshit its great but its Japanese

  • @leometalicia So what? I don't really like Japanese lyrics, but there are no lyrics here. Same happens with, let's say, Versailles' "Silent Knight".

  • @Alxegod emm it was just a joke ,but i really dont like japanese lyrics

  • @leometalicia How about putting some arguments to your statement.

  • @leometalicia

"but"? Does that just make it bad then? :/ Sounding racist there. Or nationalist whatever the word is.

  • The intro sounds almost exactly like Riot's Thundersteel's :p Badass nonetheless

  • First 10 seconds I love them already.

  • ....hell yeeeeeea...

  • Concerto Moon > DragonForce.

    Problem solved.

  • 1 of the best ?

  • Epic !!!!!!!!!!

  • Reminds me a bit of Angra. Great stuff.

  • Wtf stop talking about Dragonforce! They suck end of story nobody wants to read any bullshit about them while trying to listen to some REAL MUSIC!!!!! RAGE!@$@#

  • @FuckYourCopyrights heheh, so true, btw nice username

  • THIS IS BEST SONG OF EVER =O

  • This is a stunning instrumental and very well played and composed a very underated metal act japan have actually come with some great band in there past and this band is one of the best stunning also check out time to die and fight to the death. MY FUCKING GOOD GOD THIS GUY PLAY A MEAN GUITAR.

  • it´s , only the best power metal song of the history .. lml =D

  • Slays jonas brothers with Vampire slayer LOL

omg this song is ..... even my penis likes this song ....

  • yea so i just got my guitar today and after hearing this im questioning whether i even want to pick it up again..........:(

  • @Kingtunice haha, please dont think this way. I feel inspired to start practicing guitar classes after listening to this. :D

  • They have a heavy influence by Iron maiden and maybe Symphony x and thats nice.

    Like.

  • This dude outshreds Yngwie, just wow

  • No one can out shred Malmsteen.. You're a dumbass....

  • @Poling02 Fuck You too

  • @Poling02 While Norifumi Shima probably doesn't outshred Malmsteen, Malmsteen is not completely unable to be surpassed in speed and technical ability, he can be out shredded

  • Marty Friedman.

  • WOW!!! The guitar on this is mindblowingly good!

  • Comment removed

  • Thanks. I'll check it out. Also, do you know Guilty Gear songs? They're in the same style too. Check some of my videos.

  • @EricIetsugu guilty gear has some of the best neoclassical songs

  • @EricIetsugu Guilty Gear music is AMAZING. The remakes they did of Sol and Ky's themes were truly awesome!

  • @LacesOutEd I really like the original versions from the first Guilty Gear. The guitars there are simply unbelievable!

  • @fetonos Fucking' love the Dynasty Warriors soundtracks =D

  • If you like this song you should check out the sound track(s) to the Playstation/PC games Dynasty Warriors 4 and 5. Highly recommend playing the games as well as it's fun to go on a berzerk rampage with this kind of music playing.

  • is that the earth through the gates?

i could swear its the sun shining on earth *from space view*

  • My friend just showed me this and i just sharted in my pants This guy is good

  • he sounds exactly lik yngiwe lol

  • Nobody asked for your opinion. you like sum41... your opinion isn't valid.

  • Rofl.

  • @SadisticAbductive

dude i listen to every metal genre under the sun. my favorite bands include King Diamond, Immortal, and Ensiferum. but Sum 41 is one of the very few non-metal bands i do like. that doesnt automatically disprove anything he says.

if your a true metal fan youll be more open minded...

  • @SadisticAbductive LOL win.

  • omg i love this band is like deep purple turn into fuckin metal, !!Yeah

  • I'm new to the band but i love it~! <3

  • norifumi shima?????????

  • yes yes i know all that. the best way would still be download it off youtube, but i do want to support them, not steal their music

  • it reminds me of Dynasty Warrior Soundtracks for a stupid reason!! it fucking rocks though instrumentals can be extremelly awesome sometimes \m/

  • Same here! Loved that game!!

  • ok guys, i feel a little helpless here. only today, i discovered svartsot manegarm suidakra atsphear concerto moon and some more. i love youtube for giving me the chance getting to know all these great bands. im asking in desperation: where am I supposed to take the time to listen to all of it? if I like a song, i need to listen to it over and over again for at least an hour. plus: how am I supposed to afford all of it? i wanna own it all, but thatd make me quite poor

  • Comment removed

  • @Skelros no money? pirate bay is the answer to your problem

  • i know that, still im trying to support those bands

  • Well, there's torrents where you can download entire discographies of artists. Then there's Peer to Peer like limewire, bearshare, kazaa, etc. I would recommend buying the songs though to support the artists. But now you know the terms. Use google to figure the rest out.

  • this is why instrumentals rule, sure regular songs can kick ass and have amazing lyrics, but does that matter in another country? this has absolutely no problem with translations, and it can show the amazing composition skills of the worlds top players. we need THIS as the norm, get rid of that pop shit and give the crown back to its rightful owners.

  • @theZoftime damn straight

  • @theZoftime

This would lose all of its special qualities if was 'the norm'. It is only by judging music such as this against the norm that it can really be appreciated. Lose the norm and it loses some of its soul. It is great because it is not the norm, norms suck.

  • @rumple1232001 hm, i didn't think about it that way. i mean, you have a fair point, but if this was the stuff that people used as a base of judging good music then it would undeniably build up music to an even higher standard. the process would repeat, and people would further develop ideas. it would certainly be a better existance than the tired same old- same old, cookie cutter, sad excuses for musicians that are being produced today.

  • @rumple1232001 essentially, i would rather compare myself to top class music since it brings greater rewards when the results of your work are shown.

  • @theZoftime

I think over all you are probably right, the only problem I'd have with that view is that music is too subjective to definitively say one is better than the other. I guess all we can do for now is point out why some 'music' should not be worthy of the name, whilst others are worthy of eternity. Who knows what will be 'cool' in the future!

    Anyways Rock On!!!

  • @theZoftime Yeah, i have always thought that. For example: i like Dream Theater a lot, but in some songs the vocalist James LaBrie dos not match the quality of instrumentation. That's why I like Liquid Tension Experiment a little bit more.

  • It's a real goddamn shame that some of these albums aren't sold in America. I'd love to own this one. Great song by the way.

  • Wow ! I am impressed. Must check this band out...

  • Guitar Rules The New World

  • ...Listen Thundersteel from american power metal band Riot-

A splendid example of riff stealing XD

  • HEYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY...in this Country it's called sampleing.

  • I Love Neo Classical Metal This goes on my Favorites. Also all You who keep commenting about Dragon Force. Get out Now This Concerto Moon and they Deserve our Respect.

  • I know I'm tired of that too everytime something is fast and melodic it gets compared to dragon force when the reality is DF would never be able to compose something like this.

  • @spellboundbythebodom Dragonforce is good, especially their first album. But Herman Ri is all wankery. He cannot play guitar half as well when compared to any Neoclassical guitarist.

  • @3dd656 dragonforce are a lot better than this by far

  • @TheBazman111 i dont like ppl like u who brings up a different band to other bands its so rude to many ppl who like this band

  • @TheBazman111 I'll admit that I like Dragonforces first album quite a bit. But to say that Dragonfarce is anywhere near as good or even skilled as any Neoclassical artist is just outing yourself out as an idiot who does not know what they are talking about. Just because you may like a band more than the other does not mean an any way that that band is any more talented than the other.

  • @spellboundbythebodom dont hate on anything thats metal, hate on pop and other crap

  • @spellboundbythebodom I like DF too, they're really fast, but i think sometimes they overdo it.

  • 3:36 - 4:06

That part is beautifully played. \m/ Concerto Moon rocks!

  • Must....practice....more.....

    Love Norifumi's tone too.

  • hahahaha, this is most definitly the most Discouraging music ever if you just started playing guitar, just PURE fuckin Neo-Classical SHREDDING!!

  • @Scarecrowkira Well, Trilogy Suite Opus 5 by Malmsteen seems more discouraging to me... LOL. Keep practicing!

  • Nice! For a second I thought I was listening to Yngwie!

    This is a good guitarist.

  • I've never heard music like this before; It is.....=O

  • So MacAlpine. Tony MacAlpine. Or is it McAlpine.

  • this band fucking rocks...hope guys that listen to Dragonforce to much go look these guys up

  • duuuude!!! so awesome neo-classical metal is the best

  • where can I find this song wat website

  • why do people keep giving you thumbs down?

  • IDK...but I got this song now so its all good

  • i suppose.

it odd......i don't like metal(usualy)but i find myself listening to metal all the time.......not sure why. i know i'll never like old metal though(with the really high voices)it gets on my nerves..........i suppose i'll just stick to good solos for now

  • between power metal and metal working japan is better than everyone.

  • Europe develops the best power metal.

  • damn never new japanese would play power metal

  • Course they can, Galneryus is friggin awesome too

  • ltdt77: Are you kidding? Yngwie Malmsteen is fucking famous over there(Like he is everywhere) there are a lot of power metal guitarists who have him as an influence. Norifumi Shima(This one), Syu(Galneryus) and Katsu Ohta(Ark Storm) are some examples.

  • try galneryus,x japan,onmyouza and versailles then

  • versailles,x japan ,and onmyouza are all good japanese bands.....especialy versailles.......i never iked x japan, but i respect the hell out of them.......they really helped spread visual kei

  • yeah they did,my fav song by x japan is art of live, its a 29 minute song of symphonic speed metal with some rly good solos, even if ure not much into them u should try it

  • i definitely will............i really want to find something by them that i can like.....thanks

  • no problem, although there is a possibility that u wont like the song i think its one of the best metal songs i have heard

  • either way......it reminded me that i want to listen to them again and see if i like them now..........my taste in music has changed aittle so i might like them now.

  • Better yet, try ARK STORM with Ketsu Ohta play the song SYMPHONY ON WINGS. The Vocals sound very hefty with accent but that is because they are Japanese. You have to get used to the vocals........ OH MY GOD the Synth Solo in this song is simply just TO DIE FOR!

  • @Hajiisya i know ark storm for a long time,theyre very good,katsu ohta is a genious

  • Comment removed

  • OR GUILTY GEAR

  • Seriously, this is just out of this world, xD

  • 0:47 sounds like something out of Dynasty Warriors xD

This is great! I like the singer too, he has a cool Cookie Monster-like voice, although he'd sound better with training. But this proves you don't need lyrics for everything

  • tabs for the part 3:35 to 4:02 anyone??

    pleeeaase..

  • i thought i smelled fish

  • First off. I've been playing guitar since I was 6. I'm 22. Dragonforce is so OVER produced that they can't even play their own stuff live. Concerto Moon is a pillar in the Neoclassical genre so..... O yea and I'm a musician, not just a guitarist. Flame all you want, but some will read this and understand. (Not those who have feeble media washed minds, and especially not GH players.)

  • cool story bro

  • dude i play guitar hero, but i still think dragonforce sucks and i play real guitar, so please dont hate on guitar hero players, they arent all bad people.

  • Well, Dragonforce just... well... sux o.o

how can a band like that EVER call themselves original, this sounds AWESOME o.o

  • they can play it....if they get 1000 takes, 50 patches, and numerous overdubs :)

that and they are so drunk they cant play simple 1/5 intervals half the time.

  • @Kdecobalt

Nobody cares how its made, only how it sounds. Hence why people listen to techno music. Dragonforce sounds good on CD, and that's what 90% of people care about.

  • @Kdecobalt dragonforce can compose stuff that is as good as this is very good but norifumi is not on the same level guitar playing wise herman lee no where near and dragonforce can play what they bring out on cd they are awesom live band and not over produced at all what you say is crap dragonforce are the kings of power metal and guitar gods

  • @TheBazman111 Couldn't disagree more. Dragonforce compositions sound far too similar to each other. There's no originality in their music. They've taken the worst aspects of power metal (repeatative drum beats, overuse of power chords, simple arrangments) and composed entire albums around them. They're an ok band and fun to listen to, but the kings of power metal and guitar gods!? Far from,

  • @TheBazman111 Awesome live band ? Who .. Dragonforce ? ._. Hope you're kidding

  • @Kdecobalt What do you call a Guitar Hero player?

  • @Kdecobalt

Don't forget they are atrocious live, and cat going through a lawnmower sound better than them. Faggotforce sucks and deserves to lose that Ibanez endorsement. Ibanez has definitely lowered their standards in signature guitarists. Come on Paul Gilbert > Steve Vai > Joe Satriani > Chris Broderick > Herman Ri. Its like a bad joke.

  • freakin nice

  • SirOtaku wanna hear something funny

theres a video that shows a guitarist of dragonforce who cant even play his own songs lollll they are good but they got a shitty fag voice to me thats why i dont like them but others do thats ok i respect that

everybody got their own taste with different bands cheers!

  • yeah i think the same, the only thing i dislike from them is their vocals aswell, as far as that they are ok with me, listen to them once in a while.

  • Y.R.O

  • SirOtaku is 100% right....

  • Recent comments made me puke.
