@Reaperjohn18 Danzo doesn't suck ,sure his methods are only performend around himself ,but i get him why he's like that . After reading Danzos story i feel sorry for him ,all he wanted to do was protect the village. Well his methods of saving the village aren't what you call great ,but still he was trying to do the right thing . He just wen't down the wrong path like Sasuke .

I finally got it after a day of watching it over and over the day sai first came Danzo was planning to take over Danzo never liked saru. So now Danzo wants to take over and Danzo belives that only war can solve problems if that happens then naruto's promise will be broken.
