more than a great show he was the inventory for the likes of the rest of crime tv and todays day in age it really doesnt compare to the down and dirty new york streets love the record player reminds me of my first player in 75 and it came with two speakersand the dark side of the moon was played over and over
KOJAK WAS THE BEST, PERIOD. NOT EVEN TODAY CAN AN ACTOR OR TV SHOW MATCH THIS. IT HAS TRUE "STAYING POWER" WHO AGREES WITH ME ? THANKS SO MUCH FOR POSTING THIS. IT WAS A REAL TREAT TO WATCH. LOVE IT, LOVE IT !!!
The little girl who used to watch this show with her parents is now enjoying it through older, albeit floater-filled eyes. I love the interaction between the guys at the station and the way Kojak talks to the ladies. So many cool cars too!
I didn't realize how much I miss Kojack until I saw this. Telly Savalas was just 'cool' when I was a kid, but now a woman in my 40's, I can see how appealing he was. They don't make 'em like that anymore. Boy howdy!
Can you believe those big boats called cars we rode in back then? Thanks for the memories . . .
the 1970' s was the best decade to live in especially in the big apple and they sure dont make t.v shows like they did in the super 70's! kojak nuff said classic! r.i.p tully you were a truly gifted actor and great person!
Kojak...what a great tv show! Look at Richard Gere in a role before his star status! These 70's cop shows were the best, the episodes were more like short movies in their drama and depth. Kojak is classic. I sure miss this kind of tv.
First of all, hats off to the person who managed to upload a 46 minute program on You Tube (what's your secret?)
Secondly, Kojak is so down and dirty and gritty - it totally captures America's mood in the early to mid seventies. This episode is great!!! Absolutely no quarter!
This was a great classic episode. Only thing is at the end where they are said to be at a "Charter Terminal" at Kennedy Airport, the scene was actually filmed at the central terminal of LaGuardia Airport.
This was a great episode! I remember it well from watching it as a teenager. Thanks for posting the old Kojak videos. I am anxiously looking for more.
