Al-Kafi is a collection of Hadiths attributed to the prophet Muhamad(pbuh) & The Infallible Imams -according to Shia- & like AhlSunnah, who give much importance to their Hadith book (Saheeh AlBukhari), Shia give the same or maybe even MORE importance to their Book (Al-Kafi) . Unlike AhlSunnah who call AlBukhari's Book as (Sahih AlBukhari), Shia do not call Al-Kafi as (Sahih Al-Kafi), nevertheless, Shia treat Al-Kafi as it is (Sahih) and Their most reliable scholars declare it as a (Sahih) .

Al-Kafi may be a collection of hadiths attributed to the Prophet (saws) but not all is 100% authentic. Bukhari is not even Sahih its just a title on the front of the book..but there are many not authentic ahadiths in there and fabricated ones also and your scholars say this themselves. No hadith book wheather it be Sunni or Shia book is sahih. Shia's do nto treat Al-Kafi as if it was sahih and the scholars do not declare it 100% sahih.

Allah says in the Qur'an we are MUSLIMS.

The Qur'an 3:103, 3:52, 3:67, 41:33. Proof that we are MUSLIMS.

The Qur'an 6:159 says do not divide yourselves into sects. Those who do will answer to Allah.

Regarding sects, yes there will be 73, but:-

Sahih Hadith, Tirmidhi 171. The Prophet said "Do not divide into sects"

Well, actually there were many different factors which resulted in me becoming shia.

One was the realisation that all wrongs taught to me by sunnis and salafis were either lies or misconceptions.

I guess this one opened up the door for me and made me want to learn more.

Another big point was the knowledge I got about Islamic history, how "sahaba" murdered and fought one another.
