@jessgo33 me to..lol it was a good day and the area was ripe with nuggets. i spent allmost 9 hrs down there and dug 50 to 60 targets due to hot rock interfeance and junk in the ground but i cam home with what i was after

thats more like it. thats what I wanna get into next. Not much gold up in Oregon, at least close by. Need to head south. Hopefully by summer.

Could always water proof the unit if it isnt already to get out further. Good hunting for jewelry that way as well in swim spots.

oh its water proof upt to the brain box.. but its the stability of the edge around the waterim worried about.

How did the detector do on hot rocks? Did it GB good..

it had trouble even though i adjusted for iron and ect and still had trouble. like i said for every nuggett i found i douge 12-15 holes looking for ...lead ,hot rocks,metal, old bottle caps,ect,,, my knees hurt and were puffy from stress...errrr!

Do you ever try digging in the spots were you found the gold nuggets to run the materail through your sluice. Im debating to get the xterra 305 soon.. I meen were you found that bigger nugget at 6:30 it looked like their was alot of dirt to dig in...Just a thought..

i do if i am finding large flake, that gives me a idea that i am over a small pocket, havnt hit to many of them.....

the coin was a penny, new clad ..just worth a cent. the gold added up to over two grams... at the time i think gold was around 740 a oz

Hello scorpio but I posted questions on video 2 but incase you havent read it: what is the settings you use on the X-terra? I found a 16 ounce specimen here in redding ca next to a old tailings pile but on the inside bend of a high n dry creek 100 feet from the main creek. I used a Gold Bug 2. sold it to pay for rent though.

i picked it up for $798.00 and yes it easy to use, it also comes with a video on how to use it. and manual too. they made it with a turn on and hunt ease .. just ground balance it and go!

it was just a new pennie, it was all coroaded buy the iorn and other stuff in the sand...no great find. but i was sitting down and eatting lunch and thought it would be great to do another hunt here but with my coin coil... who knows right?
