This game is ehhhh, some of the sound effects are just plain terrible. It's a pain in the ass but if it got touched up a bit as in, sorta redone to look better and flow more smoothly than it does right now. Maybe some better music too. Well better music sounds not cheesy ones.

I find the music to be ok... it just upesets me that it's the same as contra rebirth. just the way it was done. Hope any other rebirths are not all like this type of music. overall it is pretty good though.

Although the graphics are better, they could've done a lot more. Especially considering that the DS games, even the advance games have better graphics than this, and it's on the Wii.

Diehard Castlevania fans will enjoy this, but I think most others will be turned off.

SNES Graphics with what they COULD have done, even for a WiiWare title...

The whipe doesn't swing or move any way but forward, you stop moving if you hit an obstacle in mid-jump, and you can't change direction during a jump. I'm sorry, if that makes this game /difficult/, then that difficulty is artificial and I'll have no part of it. A remake can be an opportunity to make a game... oh, what's the word... "Playable."

The sound sometimes feels like a Sega Genesis title, but the remix is cool.

As for the gameplay, I do wonder why the whip mecanics of Castlevania 4 was removed? Sometimes I miss the SNES times when game actually got something we dont find in nowadays...

Castlevania 4 was indeed awesome, but come on man it's good we are finally getting a Castlevania back in a linear fashion...

I do like the SOTN formula also.. but sometimes I just want to play traditional style Castlevania where I don't have to worry about if I've missed something all the way on the other side of the god damn castle..

Hopefully if this one sells well they'll do one more like Super Castlevania 4.

I gota agree with the AVGN: that game was one of the best 2D Castlevanias, because the controls were very responsive and helpful. Kinda disappointed in this, ive been waiting for a good 2D Castlevania game to come out that isnt like SotN but rather like traditional linear based Castlevanias. But this looks like a huge step back, why not make a really awesome game similar to The Dracula X Chronicles on the PSP. A 2D game with 3D backdrops and cutscenes & amazing graphics. Instead we get something that couldve been been on the Genesis, hey it even has the same music as Bloodlines. The eyeballs arent even that scary, ill pass
