One of THE, best game I have played in a long time. Only other game that I would like as much as this would be... maybe Black Ops.... maybe... this was perfect tho! In the beginning its kind 'bleh' because the game play is just... well... not the best in my opinion. But once you get deeper in and learn how to do everything, it is great! I would totally make this 5/5, 10/10, and anything else there could be of rating this! One word, that isn't really a word: Uber-Tastic.

You could "create" an electricity source,at the right side,over the boxes with the bullets(at the left,there isn't any).It would make it a lot "easier"!And there is no need to throw the glaive into electricity and then,make a power throw,in order to kill Mezner.There is an intense pressure,by the lack of time.You could just choose the riffle gun,and make a few shots!Anyway,this is an alternate way,if you wish to try something different for the end.Well done!It is a great game!

The bosses in this game are so stupid, just like Dead Spacs's bosses. Both Dead Space and Dark Sector are awesome though, don't get me wrong. This game kicks ass, but I really don't like the multiplayer, it seems like an afterthought.

Extreamly good game its well worth the 60 bucks, While for 8 dollars its the great decision in my whole life. Hell gears of wars 2 should be 8 bucks because it isn't that dramatiac and serious gameplay compare to this masterpiece. I recomended this game to anybody that likes a challenge an a great insane storyline twist

Just finished the game a few minutes ago and without needing to watch this. I almost gave up because I kept hitting the electricity and them the with the glaive or making it explode and then nothing. Took me a while to figure exactly what I had to do but after about 20 minutes I got it lol. I think it's good. At least a 8.0 or higher. If a sequel was possible there's a lot of room for improvement here. First the story needs to be worked on. I still don't have any idea what was going on.
The upgrade system is terrible. Your locker should be available from select not some pothole. Where's all the money? I was only able to afford about 3 or 4 out of about 8 weapons. Add a health. Even if your health regenerates i'd like to the enemies health (mainly bosses) so I know what progress if any that I am making. Melee is weak. I should be able to press Circle 3 times to perform some type of combo. I'd also like to able to grab enemies or if not at least make the finishers more diverse.
I have a gun. Let me blow a monsters brains out after I stick the glaive in his forehead. Cut the gears running s I can see better when I run. Cut the out of breath "i'm going to force you to stop running'' crippling. He should run and walk slightly faster. Add a bar for your powers. They just seem to stop working after one or two uses and it's annoying. I'd like to know how juice i've used for a shield or invisibility. I get it's survival horror but add a one or two more characters.
For comic relief or something. More enemies in a co-op mode could benefit a sequel as well. No more breaking boxes for ammo. Add trophies for those who like that. The cutscenes are boring. Half of them is him for a few seconds doing nothing. Too much door opening and loading though the loading is fast but I hate when you haven't finished exploring an area and all of a sudden you're loading into another part and then behind you is closed off. I think all of this fixed would make a good sequel.
i picked up a few tips from this vid but here's my tip for future players, there's an electric box to the right side of the screen that can be activated for easier access.

GoW was a decent game BUT certainly over-rated! Dark Sector deserved praise too but it never got any which isn't fair. That's how the videogame industry is unfortunately... it's very bias.
GoW is not just decent, GoW is ULTRA-FUCKIN-COOL! A lot better than this, for sure! This game gets repetitive, it gets boring, at least got boring to me, I was killing same mobs with same boring and dark places just waiting for the game to end... Only thing that doesnt suck is the visuals, and the bosses aint bad. But GoW, man, that's the best game of that kind and it got a deserved praise!

I also picked the game up cheap, 10 bucks for XB360. When it hit PC for 20 bucks I bought it again just to play through it on my platform of choice. I also bought 2 extra copies for PC so my friends could play alon on some LAN games that I have on occasion. So I spent a total of 70 bucks and got 4 copies! Usually $70.00 will get you 1 new console title (60 plus tax) and you're lucky if you can get yourself a cheesburg value meal with the change! Everyone who I showed this game to liked it alot!
I really believe in supporting the industry, if a game deserves the money I have no problem paying for it. I would've been equally as satisfied if I paid $60.00 for it as I was paying $20.00

Cut the out of breath "i'm going to force you to stop running'' crippling. He should run and walk slightly faster. Add a bar for your powers. They just seem to stop working after one or two uses and it's annoying. I'd like to know how juice i've used for a shield or invisibility. I get it's survival horror but add a one or two more characters.

For comic relief or something. More enemies in a co-op mode could benefit a sequel as well. No more breaking boxes for ammo. Add trophies for those who like that. The cutscenes are boring. Half of them is him for a few seconds doing nothing. Too much door opening and loading though the loading is fast but I hate when you haven't finished exploring an area and all of a sudden you're loading into another part and then behind you is closed off. I think all of this fixed would make a good sequel.

as far as the powers go, there are glowing slits on the back of his glaive arm that deplete as you use a power and then come back with time.

game's awesome no doubt...wether its better or not than GOW...the thing is that its entirely different than ny other game and never repetative nd never boring...uve got so many options on how to kill an enemy.....the game definitly deserved 9/10 just bcs D3 are new in gaming.....reviewers just kicked ass out of the game

the gameplay is good the graphics are perfect the game was first talked about in 2000...first pics in 2004....i think they had much time to think of a better story.....and its sad because the game is kinda short...i would have liked 2-3 more chapters

How does a great game like this not get that much attention while bland-ass boring Gears of War sells millions??? This game trumps GoW big time and I wish it was much more successful so we could've seen a sequel but now that will never happen. Fuckin' GoW fanboys think its sooo friggin cool just 'cause you can use a chainsaw gun, just goes to show you the mentality of the typical console gamer.

hmm i actualy think both games are equal and i like them both, no offense but both games lack variety: GoW has a few cool weapons but they really get repetitive fast and Dark Sector has the glaive which also gets repetitive fast!

You're being a Dark Sector fanboy lol. I do agree that Dark Sector is on par with most of the other top games out there but it certainly doesn't trump Gears of War. The gameplay is very different. They are both good games. It's just a shame that no one decided to play this game. I blame reviewers. Gamers listen to outlets like IGN and Xplay far to much when it comes to deciding what game to play. This game is a solid 5/5

i admit i badmouthed this gAme a little bit, but i actually went back to play parts of the story after beating it twice. it just needs less linear levels and then im all for it.

GoW was a decent game BUT certainly over-rated! Dark Sector deserved praise too but it never got any which isn't fair. That's how the videogame industry is unfortunately... it's very bias.

GoW is not just decent, GoW is ULTRA-FUCKIN-COOL! A lot better than this, for sure! This game gets repetitive, it gets boring, at least got boring to me, I was killing same mobs with same boring and dark places just waiting for the game to end... Only thing that doesnt suck is the visuals, and the bosses aint bad. But GoW, man, that's the best game of that kind and it got a deserved praise!

Hmm, I really enjoyed GoW, but okay. I think Dark Sector sux HAAARD and isnt worth ANY time. I dont consider myself a hardcore gamer, but I do complete everything I initiate... this game drove me insane. The only game I deleted at the last boss. ^.*

This game is irritating as hell. It could've been something great, but because of the few obnoxious ass parts in the game, it made it very mediocre. Not to mention a god awful multiplayer.

ya i agree that this game deserved much more praise than it recieved, but on the bright side of that, if it did, it wouldn't be 15 bucks new. I would rather be able to ger a good game cheap and have many ppl think that it's not a good game while i sit in my home playing it with a thicker wallet.

I also picked the game up cheap, 10 bucks for XB360. When it hit PC for 20 bucks I bought it again just to play through it on my platform of choice. I also bought 2 extra copies for PC so my friends could play alon on some LAN games that I have on occasion. So I spent a total of 70 bucks and got 4 copies! Usually $70.00 will get you 1 new console title (60 plus tax) and you're lucky if you can get yourself a cheesburg value meal with the change! Everyone who I showed this game to liked it alot!

I really believe in supporting the industry, if a game deserves the money I have no problem paying for it. I would've been equally as satisfied if I paid $60.00 for it as I was paying $20.00
I like PC gaming the most and I buy ALL of the games I play it's too bad that piracy is killing the PC platform, pretty soon there won't be any more good games coming out on PC and we could thank all the losers that stole game after game for it's demise. It's really pathetic.

ya i see where your coming from. I myself can't afford every game that i desire and i have tried pirating copies. But i just didn't find it worth the trouble to get them to work at times. Nothing works best until you buy it.
