  • We watched this in science class today!

  • lazy blind folks

  • All of these videos have a hidden message... SMH!!! People just look carefully.

  • Playable Ben Harper song Amen Omen from his (2003) Diamonds On The Inside album. On Spotify and Grooveshark .. Also the track has been used in The Vampire Diaries Soundtrack.

  • That white dude at 0:13 is not doing the right thing.

  • what does this have to do with CST?

  • Comment removed

  • It would be nice if people actually did this. I'm from Minneasota and growing up I was taught to be nice and curteous. Now, I live in California, I don't see the same kind of stuff I did in Minnesota. Here in Cali everyone gets mad at people when you get in their way and they expect everything handed to them on a silver platter. I don't see the reasoning for this.

Thank you for making this commercial, maybe someone will see it and learn from it. Too bad for you, I have esurance.

  • I came here cause I thought the guy at 0:27 was Bret from Flight of the Conchords. NOW I"M ANGRY!

  • I <3 Jai Wilcox!!! (Sendhil Rammamuthy)

  • of course they can do right by thier customers the go after single moms that are low income and over charge them for accidents so thier customers get their fence repaired and money in thier pocket.

  • What's my policy? I never discontinue anybody's coverage?

  • @mrsportsadam- Thanks so much!

  • @libery mutual I like the song (:

  • This commercial scares me...

  • @CSpan1993 Why?

  • This Ad and all insurances Ads are BS.

  • When someone has a claim. The insurance companies denies, delay, and deploy the arm forces.

  • What does liberty mutual have to do with people helping other people fo free.

  • So lame.

  • Very sweet

  • @AnneBoleyn808 Thank you!

  • PLEASEEEEEEEEEEE release the song from "shattered" on itunes you will make a lotttttt.-.

  • @aaahahanopeeeeeee We have had a lot of requests for this music- and are glad you like it! We will be sure to post on here if we decided to release the song on iTunes!

  • @libertymutual i'll buy it even if you make it $5 but make sure it's at least the song from the long version of "shattered" :P

  • It would also be pretty obvious that the door was held open for her and that someone was being polite to her. Which is great... but surely she was capable to hold it open for someone else instead.

  • Just because someone has a white cane and is "blind" does not mean they are totally blind (only 10% of blind individuals are "total blind"). I'm legally blind and use a cane but with assistive technology am able to view this video. And of course she would know the door is open... seeing as how she didn't run into it, lol.

  • @ninrobin22ok well just saying the blind individual would never have known that the door was even held for her, uhhhhhhh dood think it out SHE NEVER WOULD HAVE KNOWN... IT WAS A GOOD DEED WITHOUT RECOGNITION

  • What is the song on this video?

  • @ThePoolGuy747 It is Ben Harper, "Amen, Omen"

  • As a blind individual, I'm thrilled that they hired someone who was actually blind to do the part. But why couldn't the blind woman have held the door open for the other woman? That would have been a true full circle and would have shown her able to give help and not just recieve it. I'm still very happy with this commercial but would love to see the blind play more capable parts in the media.

  • @ninrobin22 how do you know if you didnt see it?

  • @ninrobin22 Thanks for your feedback! We are glad you liked the commercial and appreciate you sharing your thoughts a few months ago.

  • @ninrobin22 If you're blind how are you watching youtube?

  • I analyzed this ad (and the others in the series) on my blog:

    commercialanalysis wordpress com/mutual-liberty

(Youtube doesn't allow links in comments, so just copy the above and paste into Google. My blog post will be the first link)

  • I like the concept for this ad of doing the right thing. But I think the ad would be greatly improved if they had included the person with the visual impairment as being the provider of assistance and not just the receiver. Putting people with disabilities in the role of always needing the help of others does not promote empowerment, only pity. People with disabilities are capable and can provide service to others.

  • @MichelleBonati Thanks Michelle for your post a few months back. We appreciate you sharing your thoughts.

  • @MichelleBonati I understand your point and agree with it for the most part, but for the common person watching this, they aren't going to contemplate at the end of the ad "why didn't the disabled person help someone". Its known that someone ill/disabled needs extra help, which they show normally. I wouldn't go as far to say it "promotes pity" because the disabled person isn't servicing someone else.

  • Whats the name of the song they use in diz commercial??

  • @Al3xis51at Hi there- we know we are a little late, but its Ben Harper's "Amen, Omen."

  • Liberty Mutual doesn't give two shits about the people they insure and they're only looking out for their own pocketbooks. Remember that next time they put up a sappy commercial like this.

  • I Absolutely love this Add. I applaud liberty mutual for hiring an actual blind person for this. Way to go! Most companies hire abled body persons instead of giving the much needed job to a disabled person. Talk about doing the right thinng.

  • @mgproj77 Thank you for the kind words!

  • AFTER 9-11-11 THESE COMMERCIALS TOUCH ME EVEN MORE.

  • While I turn off so many obnoxious ads on TV, I could watch this classy one over and over. Very nicely done!

  • @foxtrot4550 Thank you!

  • Its awful nice of Liberty Mutual to get thier customers a new car. One of thier customers hit me, totaled my car. now I'm stuck with no car unable to work. 30k + in Doctor bills and adding up. Electric, water, and phone all about to be shut off. Not to mention that I'm two months behind on rent and probably will be evicted soon.. Thanks for taking care of your customers Liberty Mutual.. Resposibility, LMAO !!!

  • 0:53 lol my daughter is 5 and she'll hold the door for people...just because she wants too. Then we have to "pull" her from the door to just to leave. : )

  • @xanthuos - So, you would stop and watch blind person or a young mom with baby and shopping bags open the door themselves, right?

The question is not wether they can do it or not, but wether you will chose to help or not.

  • @x001m69...lol. Dumbass

  • sounds like ben harper is it?

  • @jontel8158 you got it!

  • this is the best liberty mutual commercial so far

  • @sakiastep12 We know we are a little bit behind- but Thank You for the kind words!

  • I worked for Liberty Mutual in customer service for over 6 years, resigning thinking I could make more money in sales. Long story short, made a mistake and wish I had never left the company. Was making almost $20/hour with 5 weeks of flexible time off during the year and great insurance benefits. Just call me stupid.

  • Can anyone tell me where to find the cast from this commercial?

  • I'd just like to know if they hired a real blind actress for the part.

  • OmG the song is from vampire diares amen omen :)

  • who sings the song, Eagle-Eye Cherry?

  • @hotrod4you2 We know we are a little bit behind- but the song is Ben Harper's "Amen, Omen"

  • I love seeing these ads on TV. :)

  • @bijoukaiba We love that you love to see them! Thank you!

  • While I like the first and last scenes, shot at LA's Union Station, why did both involve a sight-impaired person? Gives the impression that they wouldn't be able to navigate the station without the assistance of others.

  • @xanthuos The blind person in the first and last scene is the same person, giving the impression that good deeds come full circle.

  • The lady raking the leaves for her neighbor isn't doing the right thing, she's raking them so they don't blow into her own yard..

  • Ajudar o próximo é contagioso

Todos os dias, milhões de pessoas ajudam o próximo. E um acto de bondade parece ser contagioso!

Interessante anúncio série “Do The Right Thing”, da Liberty Mutual.

Relacionado: Estender a mão: perigo de contagio Aqui é RMD área.

  • This is a nice twist/update to LM's branding. Great song by an unassailably cool artist. Also slightly gutsy by allowing the chorus of the song to kick in w/ "Amen Omen"... A lot of companies might shy away from that part of the song or cut it out.

  • @JMUBenny We know we are a little late- but wanted to say Thank you for the kind words!
