  • I love DickLee!! I'm a new bigfan of yours from japan.

  • can anyone tell me where can i find the lyrics for dick lee part in the song?

  • Dick Lee

  • Such a mesmorising song even after all these years. Beautiful voice coupled with a perfect arrangement.

  • I ve always liked Sandy. More so now that she is a lil older, she has more "woman's scent"...LOL.

    The song? Yeah, it's good.....

  • Love this R&B and 情人的眼淚 remix!! Very fusion!! That's what I'm talking about mixing new and old the CORRECT way! I agree with previous comment the new people don't do this sort of remix right anymore. All hails to Sandy Lam & Dick Lee!! She is my inspiration.

  • I love this song very much. It's very Asian.. and very beautifull arrangement song

WHEISHENME YAO DUI TA DIAO YENLEI...

  • Dick Lee's Remixed version of Lover's Tears featuring Sandy Lam is a personal favourite from those days...

  • @ ansha, 這首歌MV中的那男仔 not look like babyface, He is Dick Lee, a famed Singaporian Singasong writer/ produced. extremely talented. He rose to fame long b4 babyface.

btw I m always glad i was born in the 70s and c it all 70s-97...the glory day of HK pop Canto pop.

  • totally moved by this song, must be one of the best "fusion" song ever produced, thanks to dick lee.

  • I have this album as a LP record, this is my favorite song forever.

  • And also, there's no YouTube in that generation. The hit rate should be waaaaaaaaaaay higher.

  • Sandy ah Sandy...u r truly missed........

  • 情人的眼泪 song got Dick Lee inside and I think he made Sandy so popular nowadays.

  • Dick Lee is from Singaporean and now he's 54 now. He's such a good talent of composing song from Sandy Lam I think it's worth it!

  • classic...

  • Thank you, it brings back happier memories of a more carefree time.

  • @mongoosefighter

One of my fav songs..reminded me too of the good old days;-)

  • @mongoosefighter

    Me too.

  • my favourite singer.. she will be all time great.. most attractive girl

  • Excellent, thanks for sharing

  • Dick Lee and his "Manhattan Transfer"-like style of arrangement totally rules! does he still put out his own music? such a talent.... rat bastard! haha.

  • Awesome! I just love the contemporary twist on this song; a classic refreshed! Awesome!

  • have to say Dick Lee is and forever will be one of the few really talented artist made and born in Singapore. Keep up the spirit Dick !

  • mr dick lee~

  • YES..coz of love..dripping golden pearls....

  • @ansha2007 I think that guy is young Dick??

  • I suppose this Lover's Tear make me feel so good just because rearranged techinque of Dick Lee with vivid style. Cool! Actually he's from Singapore......And Sandy's voice made this song even fantastic!!

  • her eyes are just a little bit too tiny. @Ginne86

  • Utterly fabulous!!

  • the song itself is timeless and immortal. sandy's singing might not be as good as 蔡琴 and 姚苏蓉. but i do love this remixed too.

  • She is definitely one of the very best Chinese singer who has a really wide range of dynamic and styles. It is so sad to see nowaday that no one can sing anymore.

  • this is from the times when people were still polite~ :)

the music nowadays can never hold a candle for the 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s... and even 50s... and post world war 2 era widow songs...

  • has anyone heard the English version of this song? Would you know who sang it?

  • @divatoh : Dick Lee sang the English version.

  • Still feel her late 80's/early 90's period in HK was her best time (even she became more famous in Taiwan). I think Dick Lee & 倫永亮 fit her more than 李宗盛.

  • So beautiful; so nice!

  • it's good! Sandy is my charm.

  • its kind of like best of both world

  • I was introduced this song by my friend for 15 years ago. It was not good to me, however it is good to me, it is grettable to feel to get ages. It is OK , good song is good, I was prematured at that time.

  • wow.. 15 years ago......

  • Many singers have sung this song 'Lover's Tears' but nothing like this one which is certainly the BEST version Ive ever heard! An awesome rendition by Dick Lee and with Sandys beautiful voice, it makes it perfect! Thumbs-up!

  • She dyed her hair? NOOOOOOOOO.

To all the women with beautiful black hair that looks best on Asian women, please do not dye your hair any other colors. Whoever conviinced you to do it, they're nuts, or they're lying to you. I've seen them, they were just wrong, very wrong.

  • lol elguapotetigre, ... but hes more of a faggot than a lesbian haha, coz he's a guy, n hes gay, no a woman who acts n dress manly, so funny when hes a les : ) i love dick lee, he's totally talented :D

  • You will never see again the YMT ferry crossing from Jordan Road Pier to Central.

  • This is a nice version...but that guy looks like a lesbian lmfao.

  • I think the song would have been better sans the 80's Beat. The Pop way she was singing it was great!

  • Halo, the video is from late 80s to early 90......

I did a compair on the building images......

cant go wrong cos there are some building only buid after 80.....

  • I like her very "Asian" facial feature. It's a lot more attractive than those "plastic surgery after" faces.

  • @openlc555

I don't like plastic surgery either, I also find her attractive in her way.

But,...I am not sure if she looks really "very Asian"...

At least the most chinese women I see don't look that...

I haven't been to every corner of Asia,

but still I suppose this kind of "very Asian" is only a illusion of you west people, sorry...

  • @openlc555 so do i! :)

  • This rendition is more exquisite than previous through the beautiful mixing by Dick Lee. 姚敏 and 陳蝶衣 would be proud of it.

  • Her non-verbal gestures are also very elegant and graceful. She represents the Asian standard of beauty. In some later appearances, she dyed her hair---, to my dismay and horror!

  • Ha, I am glad that I have never seen her in dyed hair. I thought I was out of date, but , seeing your response, it proves that a good taste of beauty is transpired over ages.

  • She is so graceful until she dyed her hair into a complete blonde; I felt humiliated that Chinese women dislike their black silky hair. I still like her but she is no longer my idol! I have not seen a blonde dye her hair all black to look oriental. This is basically a sense of inferiority that we should not have. Chinese ladies are prettier than any other women in the world with their silky black hair!!!

  • It's called "personal choice..." But I do agree, blonde on an Asian woman, who is not Caucasian/EurAsian, just isn't nice too look at. Many people in my family are EurAsian and most of our girls have come out with light brown or blonde hair with almond eyes a la blue or green. My sister, jet black hair and straight as a board, beautiful!

  • As long as it is natural, it is fine. It is also konwn as "natural beauty". I remember Nancy Kwan in the "World of Susie Wong"; she was a knockout and everybody in Taiwan loved her.

  • I prefer this version because it sound more modern and faster and yet does not lose its charm.. but I think the older gen will prefer the older ones.. but both does have its own merit.

  • Sandy's trial is good but Poon's version is still timeless and enchanted. I still prefer Poon's version.

  • The older, classic version of this song is great and will always be a classic. But I also love this contemporary arrangement by Dick Lee, blending perfectly with Sandy Lam's beautiful voice.

  • sandy's version is much better than poon's!!

  • I don't know who gave you those "thumb's downs", but I totally agree with you.

  • I love this video. Sandy is the best. She looks like ladies in good old shanghai, so delicate and beautiful traditionally.

  • I love her voice.So nice!!!!

  • can someone tell me what dick lick sings in this video clip,i mean the lyrics?i believe that this lyrics contain words suitable for 'tackling' a girlfriend.

  • I think you need to get your spectacles change to a binoculars instead, fatso.

It's a black and white scenic view of the 70s Hong Kong Bay. You called yourselves a Singaporean when you cannot even recognize your own country landscape?

  • My dear Westray,

  • ANother dumb ass who shoot before making sure and making a fool of yourself

  • still Poon's is the best.

  • Great combination of Sandy Lam and Singapore's very own Dick Lee! Proud of the awesome duo! :)

  • Love this song and the singer

  • Long this song and the singer

  • what a beautiful partnership.she is so beautiful in that chiong sham and he is so talented.

  • Love this song! listen it N times every day! Recalled a lots of memory!

  • Sandy looks so elegant in that qipao. Never thought that she would look sexy in that. Sandy has done this classic beautifully for the modern day audience. It's so sad that the quality of songs in recent years has deteriorated. This song reminds me of being the "Lady Marmalade" from the East.

  • Very nice musice. Is a change from the old version.

  • wow! she looks so stunning in the qipao dress!
