All Advance Wars are thumbs up in my book but I've been more for the storyline. I loved the stories of Advance Wars. But then they said "meteor showr, er'y ones dead" Now it's all about random armies doin nothing. "hey! the Beast's attackin some guys. Looks attack too!" The story kinda sucked.. Plain and simple. Black Hole Rising For the win!! Hawke For The Win!!
Oh and that guy was right. This is the forth. AW - GBA, AW:BHR - GBA, AW:DS - DS, AW:DoR - DS!! BHR was the best!!
The only thing BHR had was Sturm. I thought Dual strike was better. IMO DoR was the best, but too short. Most people who don't like the newer AW, are those who hate change. DoR forces you to think about your commander's position. BHR and the original had terrible AI compared to the new ones, but thats why they make new games.
I love Endless Ocean although I can't really disagree with anything you guys said about it. I'm a big gamer but I'm also from the Midwest so maybe that explains it...

You should pick "Second sight" or "Fur Fighters" as your retro game of the week. "Second sight" was made by the timesplitters team, and Fur fighters is essentially talking animals with guns who travel to different locations rescuing their children from a giant cat whose kidnapped them all.

I think a good idea would be to post the point in the information bar where you review a particular game, like say if I wanted to see Advance Wars: Days of Ruin but not Endless Ocean you could post Advance Wars: Days of Ruin: 30mins 20secs or whatever. Something to think about I hope.
I think they should make a remake of Crash Bandicoot, a good one not the crappy ones they have been making. I still play the original it is awesome. The people should take some time with the game and maybe actually put some fun in it like the original. Thats just my opinion.
The last one they made is not too bad on the Wii. We reviewed it a while back -- it's not as good as the originals, but not as sucky as the few before that.
I totally agree that FF7 needs to be remade, but it HAS to be true to the previous storyline. Basically I want to play with amazing graphics (I'd settle for half decent even, I mean really I'd settle for like FFX graphics, which were decent-good.) But the battle system, the plot, everything else should stay the same. Of course they should add easter eggs, mini-games (have to be good, can't ruin the integrity!).. I think every FF7 fan has gone on this rant at least once. Please Square Enix...

In your Rez review, you talked about enjoying the "four levels", but did you know there's an unlockable 5th Area?
The 5th Area in Rez simply blows away the previous four. Much like the final "escape" level in Portal, Area 5 in Rez makes everything before it simply feel like a training exercise.
It's easy to unlock and considered by most Rez fans to be both the meat and pinnacle of the game experience.
Q: I finished areas 1-4, but area 5 didn't unlock! Help!
A: You need to get 100% analyzation on all 4 areas. To get 100% analyzation, you need to shoot every password protector that shows up, and then shoot the network opening (cube) 8 times to go to the next layer level. It's pretty hard to miss these, if you pay attention you should get them all no problem. You should be on layer level 10 before the boss if you did it right.

How about the dumbest thing I ever saw in a game store? This kid came in and bought an x-box and 6 games and to pay for it he pulled out a pile of 1$bills. That would have been bad enough but he counted them not by stacking them but by peeling them one at a time from his stack and creating a 1$ mountain on the counter in front of the clerk. 20 minutes later when he was done and the rest of us in line were ready to strangle him he walked out leaving the clerk to organize the mountain. HINT- BANKS
endless ocean seems like the PERFECT stoner game. you still get to "interact" but you don't have to do too much work. also, it seems very immersive, you can get lost for hours in that game...if you are stoned!

How about the dumbest thing I ever saw in a game store? This kid came in and bought an x-box and 6 games and to pay for it he pulled out a pile of 1$bills. That would have been bad enough but he counted them not by stacking them but by peeling them one at a time from his stack and creating a 1$ mountain on the counter in front of the clerk. 20 minutes later when he was done and the rest of us in line were ready to strangle him he walked out leaving the clerk to organize the mountain. HINT- BANKS

endless ocean seems like the PERFECT stoner game. you still get to "interact" but you don't have to do too much work. also, it seems very immersive, you can get lost for hours in that game...if you are stoned!
