The ship he's flying is an Ishkur/Incursus... which is a cheap gallente frigate... not a full t2 raven/golem.

Meh. Insurance handily covers the cost of a frigate, and fittings generally don't cost too much.

Tech 2s on the other hand, are a completely different story.

if you have5-10 frigates(condor) then none ship(bc or higher) can kill them ^^ they are like bacteriums you are humand and the bacteriums kills you slow but effective ;)

Eve is pretty hardcore and we play for keeps. Its a bit rough on the newbies but if you put in the time and work, it pays off. Eve FTW

EvE Owns WoW so hard.

If you buy EvE time codes it comes out as about £7.50 (or $15 if you're in US) a month and yeah it's worth it.

WoW is full of kiddies and parents, lots of complainers who dont want you to say words like "hell" and "die."

WoW is too much walking to a fight only to die.

WoW is stupid way too overdone magic/sorcerers crap... Eve is fun-time futuristic space battle

WoW has a nasty experience grind, EVE is time based training

I played WoW for a long time, and it is MUCH more time consuming then EVE, they both cost the same monthly, and I started EVE 3 days ago and already have a destroyer. :) EVE in my opinion, but it is always your choice.

@Divinoamor pay to play EVE? Oh wait I remember doing that a long time ago. Haven't use real money in over a year. You can concentrate on EVE one day a month and generate enough ISK [through ratting, mining and industry] to purchase GTCs in game. Not plexes, GTCs.

@habib123456789 No, GTCs purchased at other places like shattered crystal are for 60 days. What some people do is buy a GTC and convert it in game to two 30 day PLEXes and sell those. I buy GTCs. I am lazy. I renew every 60days not every month--too much work :P

yeah we have TS. We were split into 2 fleets, and i was pretty intent on killing that Battleship with a t2 frig. I missed the call to move out. But no biggie, no big loss and it was my fault. Always listen for your FC

if you get blown up yeah, you lose your ship, but if you bought insurance on your ship then all is well. i am a newb, and its taken be a bit to get used to it, but i love EvE!!

just pay your insurance bills and nothings that bad.

As farkdanarc said, it it's not the end of the world if you loose your ship. The money needed depends much on what type of ship you have, early ships is easily replaced but when you get to battleships things starts to cost. Think of it like the durability of gear in WoW; if you die you lose a lot of durability which will cost you more to repair if you have better gear. "Start over from scratch" is exxagurated :P

and then if you get to ships like tech2 ships there are no insurence to cower it. those are EXPENSIVE to loose :)

try bounty farming, warp to 100km, kill any b-ship, next belt, repeat

If somebody warps into your belt, they have to travel about 80km to warp disrupt you, leaving you enough time to get out.
