  • OMG, someone is coming to save us from those fearsome, gut ripping monsters with a scythe in their hands... quickly, stand in his way so he can't get a clear shot!!

  • I CAN'T DECIDE...

what is more epic? The horrible and unnecessary static poses the characters pull with no good reason, the OTT screams of the innocent civilians or the overly colourful 'happy happy' rainbow gradient STAGE CLEARED text at the end of each... er, stage.

    SERIOUSLY THOUGH...

I've owned this game in the past for DC (even as GunCom 2 for PAL PS2) and it's trash. Do-able... laughably bad... but still trash!

  • Is this the same Ecole who came out with later editions of Melty Blood?

  • @TriggerheartExcelica Yeah. same Ecole.

  • i played the actual disk before unfortunately it does not work too well

  • Will a dreamcast light gun even work with a modern day LCD or Plasma TV?

  • 3:25 Crazy!!!!

  • a giant robot named "sword the stink" wielding a giant sword that squeals like a dolphin everytime he's knocked down... what'll they think of next

  • damn..this game was supper fun, i had the dreamcast gun and everything...ona big bulb tv screen..the gunshots were amazing..and the enemies look so tough..but they weren't..i hated the chick boss that was jus everywhere....

  • i love the old schoold graphics and songs !

  • House of the Dead meets Transformers

  • The PS2 port in europe was not really different however some visuals were removed because of 'epileptic' players

  • A great improvement of Death Crimson..

  • wow, does this game need a dreamcast gun thingy?

  • It's compatible with light guns but can be played with a controller.

  • im playing right now ill record and upload when im done

  • This game looks wicked awesome, think I'll buy it in the future. Does anybody know of any other good rail-shooters for the Dreamcast besides HotD2 and this?

  • Ummm... Silent Scope, I believe is the only other one.

  • Confidential mission. Short, but there's a lot of the extra missions and such.

  • Silent Scope apparently doesn't support light guns.

But Sega Smash Pack (Virtua Cop 2), & Confidential Mission support light guns.

  • Sword Of The Stink?

    ...What? Really, Sega?

  • @goldskarr nobody said the names had to be good. Nobody.

  • what where they smokin when they named the boss 2:53

  • @MaiL0MaN5 They were sniffing crap.

  • This games was so so but its worth playing it.

  • WWOOOOW biggest ripoff EVER!! from House of the dead 2

  • This is like HotD2 with robots. Awesome.

  • I love the sound effect when you shoot the skeletons :D

  • In no way is this a ripoff of House of the Dead 2

  • @Redgrant80 It wishes ot was.

  • Absolutely CRAZY game, nothing to say.

One of my fav rail shooters.

  • shame it sucked.

  • This game Looks Awesome I WANT IT!!!!!!!!

  • Actually, SEGA never made this game but they did published it in the arcade. Death Crimson OX is based on Death Crimson 2 (a 1999 Japanese Dreamcast title), which was a sequel to the crappy yet legendary Death Crimson for the Saturn.

  • Death Crimson 2 does have Japanese voices and text, hence the inaccessibility. The games were made by Ecole Software, a company with a reputation for doing Kusoge (crappy games). Personally, I don't trust Ecole because of their poor quality/taste in video games.

  • So, is this DC OX game better than DC2 and DC1???

  • Death Crimson OX does deliver more action than being story-driven, unlike DC2. And it's at least more playable than the Saturn original.

  • The Dreamcast only really had three rail gun shooters, so why complain? You could easily say "ANOTHER FOOTBALL GAME?!?" or "ANOTHER PLATFORMER!?!"

  • @TimeChristis Virtua Cop 2, Confidential Mission, House of the Dead 2, Typing of the Dead (Kinda?), and this.

  • @MrSaturn33 I'm pretty sure Time Crisis was also on the Dreamcast. That said, I'm planning on dropping money on a Dreamcast system soon mostly for the light gun games. It's sad that it was Sega's last system, but they sure did go out with a bang.

  • @TimeChristis actually it had about 6 or 7. Most of them weren't released in the states because of columbine.
