  • I made my windows XP boot in less than 6 seconds from Bios to desktop. I have a 4GHz Phenom II X4 955 and 6 GB of ram. :P Anyone feel free to challenge me.

  • if only work the sound in comuter my pc login in 2 seconds!

  • Are you sure it's just registry? My mother's machine is so slow, it will take past 60 seconds to clear the login screen.

  • @HoneycombAgent There may be a lot of litter in autostart and services. Consider cleaning up the whole system - every uninstalled application leaves something in the system registry, look up the internet for the proper way to do it. The shown result is absolutely normal, unless you have a very slow HDD. But I don't know if it's "fast". I run Arch Linux on Asus Eee 901 netbook, and it boots within 7 seconds from power button to desktop (some 4 seconds from bootloader to login screen)

  • Mine is well faster and i am not using virtual pc either. i am running on a intel dual core 3.00 GHZ Processer with 4gb :)

  • First of all you´re running SIMULATION ... that means no technical difficulties .. try this on old machine, second this is stupid, man .. I have AMD X3 and SSD harddrive ... and guess what ... XP didn´t really recognize cpu nor the disc :) surprise my friend .. this proves nothing! .. clean install expensive SSD brand new gaming computer and the win XP is booting like i´m running it on 486 ... I GIVE YOU 1000 EUROS if you can make my Win xp go fast. I´ve even tried TinyXP rev.9 - no progress

  • i fu*&%$ up my computer trying this and it doesnot work

  • THIS VALUE DELAYS STARTUP OF INDEXING SERVICE SO DONT DO ON SLOWER MACHINES!

  • use vmware workstation instead.

you can make windows vista and 7 aero effects work and its as fast as your real pc if you configure it right.

  • "I think" and "something like that"?

  • This is pretty average boot time for a virtual machine. Booting up is fast because no actual physical hardware is being initialized therefore all hardware inits immediately. The registry change indicated has nothing to do with bootup delays at all. It is used to prevent the Indexing Service from building the catalog immediately on startup because this would reduce startup times by making the disk busy while AV and startup programs are launching. Changing this setting will increase boot time!

  • hay i found this atapi.exe file on my xp and a website is saying its a trojan i found it in my dell file in shared documents

  • dude this isnt fast login time, and boot up time to login page is average...

  • its lag because he run the xp on virtual machine

  • some of my friend told about reg in out registry cleaner, i have downloaded that, and run first i thought this will also not work, but after running i seen the results my win is much faster, nearly it's look likes new win, u gyus can try this it will work for u

  • pla provide me detail to make my xp fastest boot

  • @aman2254 You need to go into you registry and change a settings. This process is detailed towards the end of the movie.

  • on run what should we type i did not understand

  • @zaidkuso regedit

  • how did u made that so fast? :D

  • this isnt fast... u saw an xp stared up on a ocz vertex SSD? with a dual core of 3.5 Ghz well thats fast!!

  • my computer make this 5 second after the bios is gone. to the windows loading thing comes when its clean

  • My computer is pretty old (Athlon 2800, 512 ram) and I tried doing what is demonstrated in this video. My bootup time was 73 seconds before and did not change after lowering the start up delay to 0. Anyone have any ideas?

  • My Desktop boots xp faster.

  • i saw this guy on youtube his went 11s on a old xp laptop

  • You can try removing some shortcuts you don't need to make it a bit faster and to switch to the classic theme.

  • i'm sorry you feel that way, oh ya, I blocked you

  • my pc starts up in 34 seconds, probably don't care but just saying

  • Its nNOT FAST!!!!

On my Desktop pc ive 0,4Balks, and on my virtual pc 1,2like you, i think its normal if youve your sys under control

  • WTF 2 cursors

  • I don't know why that was happening, it had somthing to do with screen recoroding software

    oh well

    did you like the video

  • he was using MS Virtual Machine there is a host cursor ( the OS he is running VM on ) and a VM cursor.. u have to click in the VM window to capture the cursor so u can use it in the VM window

  • 2.1 surround sound

    2 means stereo

    5 or 7 is surround

  • I encoded it in 5.1, but my microphone only has stereo

    I will adjust the annotation

  • @brodypros YouTube does not support any sound format other than 2ch stereo.

Some older software is incompatible with 5.1-channel audio.

  • what you type?

  • what do you mean

  • regedit

  • This is a virtual machine

  • what do you use to record your screen? just many cam?

  • I used debut, you can see how to get it in one of my earlier vids
