Super is actually pretty versatile, but best only for output encoding.
I suggest using VirtualDub to do any editing/filtering first, then run it through Super for final output.
Bear in mind, youtube caps videos at 30fps, so even you submit 60fps content, it gets reduced. YT just drops every other frame, though, so you should run your 60fps video through a filter to blend 2 frames into 1. That way you still have the image data from the 60fps, edges will just be a little soft on YT.
Yup, it won't encode or there are frame/crashing problems (hence is why I I don't like TS/M4TS files too much since it isn't compatible with much stuff).
I guess recording in an uncompressed format is out of the question?
I haven't used that capture device yet. I do want to get it though. Until then, I can only speculate that not all video editors like the format your using. Example, I have Sony Vegas 8. Whenever I try to edit video encoded in Xvid, it outputs full black with the audio preserved.
also some times video get like that i had one like that.
for example sometimes the video can go slow in your pc like lagg or weird slow down but once you upload them to youtube they going be fine but the black thing is normal is just the setting that you used made video look like that try lowering the frame to 29.970NTSC 90 Sharpest Mode CVR or Quality VR better looking quality but big files.
Matching the settings of your source footage will keep the re-encoding and quality drop to a minimum. For 720p recording with the Hauppauge this generally means having Vegas render files out in 60fps (well, 59.9400 to be precise) and at the same data rate you recorded the source footage at (if the Hauppauge is set to record at 6Mb/s, you should be rendering out at 6Mb/s) if you want near-raw quality video. The codec is a toss up between WMV and Main Concept .mp4, but I prefer .mp4 for YT.
Looks pretty darn good to me.A few random flickers, but that's YouTube's transcoding for you. Any improvements over this will likely be marginal and probably not worth the time. To be honest, I'm kind of suprised you got this quality with WMM at a 30fps output. How do you feel about this result?
Also, the video looks deinterlanced (progressive) to me.
Can you give me like a set timing for the random flickers? I would like to see where you are seeing it and then compare it to my WMV video on my PC (and TS file too).
Yea, 30fps seems good.. trying to get it at 60fps might be too much trouble since you need really good PCs to actually watch 60fps videos without the audio going ahead of the video.
Around 1:49 - 1:50 when Chris is turning towards the crate near the mid to upper part of the screen. It's kind of hard to see unless you're looking for it. I suspect it won't show up in the original footage.
Watching and rendering 60fps videos does take up a lot of the computer's resources, but I'm able to watch 60fps 720p videos without audio/video sync issue and I only have a midline 1.80 GHz duo core and a basic video card. A 2.87 GHz should be able to handle that with no problems. :S
i update the drivers in official site so when i place file on sony vegas it would open.
i had issue before with it i can't get many programs support the format M2ts same thing TS pretty much what i seen i avoid the Mp4 since sony vegas tends to say weird format file.
What do you mean by update the drivers in official site? Do you mean the latest version (9.0c)? Because I don't see any drivers on their website.
Also on Vegas 9, when I try to put up a TS file, I also get a "black screen" added on too. Check my description for a downloadable 3 second demonstration of what I see on Vegas.
So pretty much, I'm want to be able to edit/cut with Vegas or Virtual Dub before encoding it to HD for Youtube or downloadable format.

I use the Happauge PVR. I'll send you a PM with what I use. It's still a learning process for me too. :)
