The success of this union influenced many negros across the states to create brotherhood and sisterhood to keep us united. they say that because Iota Phi Theta is the last fraternity included in the Divine 9... meaning they are the youngest, established in 1963, opposed to the Alph's who where established in 1906 i believe. So the Iota's are still forming tradition opposed to resting on tradition as the older greeks. Hope that helps!!!

why judge a fraternity by its founding date? to down a frat because it was founded at a later time just shows how low you have to stoop to boost your own frat. you can only judge the individual not the group. why put a entire group down when the goal should be to uplift? its okay to have love for your frat but damn to get to the point where violence is involved is childdish. and if one of your "goals" is BROTHERHOOD where's the brotherly love in that???
