No, it is not. Adding &fmt=22 or &fmt=18 to the end of the video url is making no change to the viewing quality, and therefore this is not HD. It is not even HQ.

Is the file you tried to upload the correct size to be viewed in HD? It is possible that when you uploaded it, Youtube scaled it down to the normal viewing quality..permanently.

Also, Youtube at the most only shows 720p as far as I know...and if you had actually tried the method I just mentioned, you would realize that no HD stream of this upload is being loaded for this video.

I have a 19 inch flatscreen that I bought three months ago that supports resolutions far higher than 1080p. Heck, even my CRT before that supported 1600x1200 which still is enough for HD videos.

Also, having a 1080p screen does not justify the resolution of this video...because it is not that at all.

Along side this, I have a flv stream ripper that proves there is no HD file associated to this upload in question. Face it, your upload is NOT HD...you fail.

And it isn't low to say that, because it is the truth I am talking about. Watching a normal quality video UPSCALED on a 1080p monitor does not make it HD.

Guess what? Monitors have been able to reach higher resolutions for a long time...especially if you are using a projector.
