  • Congrats, young lady. Persist, you're gifted

  • I like it very much, congratulations!

  • i like your hair. -Barbie- hehehe x)

  • I love watching her videos.... so nice the way she plays :)

  • You make me want to practice and get better. So i will get off u-tube and practice now.

  • well done but wat the hell did u out in that bin?

  • such soft , warm sound

  • that was funny with the pedal platform. you never use your music. could you play pieces that you haven't played in years without your book, if you had to at a moment's notice?

  • don't throw your piano to the garbage like u did, you're very good! :P

  • i have to say this is a wierd interpretation

  • Beautifulll!!!!!!!!!!

  • thanks for adding me! by the way nice hair girl! lovin it LOL try chopins first mazurka its very pretty and i would love to see your interpretation

  • i think your good but u need to play more quietly in some parts, especially at the start.

  • Wow You had beat me!!

I`m just 11 but i`m only in blue danube

    Hahaha

  • It would be better if you relax a little bit and start softer, add a little rubato in to this piece. It sounds too mechanic.

  • que gracinha

  • Haha! Too big for foot rest :) - so you put it in garbage xD?

  • Wish you all the best, little genius!

  • The beautiful... Ne znam sta da kazem... Fantasticno............

  • lolololols the beginning when you threw out the platform was funny :) :) :)

    you play well, keep practicing!

  • I love Chopin! what kinda pianist doesn't though. The melody needs more expression. Feel free to be an artist and experiment with different inflections and such. Don't just play what's on the page. I think once you mature a bit the artistry aspect of classical piano will come easier.

  • Prodigiosa en verdad, me encanto la Mazurka.

  • how nice!

  • Young lady, you are amazing. At the risk of being cliché, you go girl!

    (Love the subtle humor, too!)

  • i watched some of your videos and like other - i think you're amazing and i love your humor ;)

What about this video - you play mazurka a bit like waltz or like if you were practicing to much with metronome... It's really hard to catch the right rythm, i think mazurkas are most difficult chopin's pieces.

good luck and i hope we will hear more about you in next few years!!

  • At 12 seconds I roar with Laughter again. I love the subtle humor you incorporate in some of your videos.

  • I dont get whats so funny bout that, she moved some sort of thing into a garbage bucket, then moved it. ok..?

  • She moved the foot rest into the Garbage like she is either tired of it or has grown out of it. It was funny non-verbal communication. You did not catch the Humor or even recognize what she was throwing away so I am not shocked that the humor slipped right by you. If you watched her Child Prodigy video you might start to see her humor by some of the antics she displayed in that video.

  • you would make a fantastic pianist! you are so young and yet play like a professional pianist! i applaud you and good luck in the future! AMAZING!!!!!!!

  • ancora cn ste mani ondeggianti oddiooooo

  • Wow your really talented and dedicated to music. You got goood parents I bet you grow up in a great musical atmosphere. I support you. I watch all your videos. This is really cool. Thanks for posting. I love this Mazurka.

  • This is just amazing, I just started playing 6 months ago an I hope to one day play this good. Gaby

  • wow ur good.....and as u 4 da rest of u bitches....fuck off.. :)

  • §§

  • Not to sell it aniway to the rude bastard you are

  • so can you? and this can't so she isn't talented? man i tell you're not going to be happy with your talent since you don't know how to combine it with moderate articulation. I can tell you that your ignorance is beyond measure and there's a difference between being able to make music and to play pieces at any age and time.

  • Oh shut up, she's a great player, and don't comment unless you actually have something constructive to say; nobody cares how good you are, myself included. Also, if you really care about grammer, "i suggest that you look into myself" makes no sense. Edit that sentence before you start correcting others.

  • llamasownyou, you should ask her out. If you're so good, she'll probably like you. Just be a man about it, quit being a bitch/sissy, and step up to the plate. She wont bite. Just ask her with a lot of confidence, and remember that every woman no matter what age, what personality, what ethnicity likes confidence in a man, so be that man. I'm trying to help you out llamasownyou, cause you need it. Go get you some!!

  • Who gives a fuck?? Your not 11...ur prolly a 45 yr old loser who envys this child's talent. She is gifted unlike ur hatin ass. SO STFU, TY

  • Wow. Somebody has a very high opinion of themselves. Well it is very impressive that you can play the Rachmaninoff but you are a very conceited person and I don't think you are very nice as a person. Just saying :)

  • How old are you and how much do you practice every day?

  • she is 10 years old

  • I'm a fan of you:)

  • Very nicely played, well done.

  • Maravilhosaaaa!!!!!!!!

    bravooo!!!!!

  • Brava !!!!!

  • There`s another mazurka like this in the same key but I can`t find it because I can`t remember the name.

  • Oh, I just found it and it`s a waltz not a mazurka. And of course it`s in C# minor just like I remembered. ;)

  • Another Wonderful !!! I am watching your steps ... :-DD

  • très bon!

  • i did not realize how good grotrians sound

  • Nice Mazurka, nice girl. I want start learn this piece, when I finished 1st Chopin Ballade in g minor.

  • clean and clear!!

  • WoW!!

    Nice playing, Cecilia

  • wats with pencils under piano keys? anyways thats was really good playin and i wish i could play like that

    THIS IS THE BOMB!!

  • asi es como se hace!

  • love the piece!

  • nice intro

  • This is wow. <3

  • you get pencils in your piano 2? wow whats up with pianos and pencils.

  • you know something???

    i'm extremely jealous lol :P

  • May I have that pedal extender please? :-)

  • This is the fourth time i'm clicking "watch again". :=O

  • didnt flow so well, a little uneven to me - let it breathe a little more and practice with a metronome - sounds to me like this piece controls you instead of the other way around - in time youll be able to do what ever you want with the music

  • I love it ^_^

  • wow! great musicality... you'll be a great pianist one day

  • one day? lol i think that day's already way past

  • sweet

  • I'm in love with the way you play, thanks for sharing your videos, talent...

  • NICE! GREAT FINGERING! I played that song too!!!

  • Truly awesome gift. Please continue the great work!

  • Wonderful, beautiful... I love your playing..:))) You are awesome !!!

  • You are unlike so many other child piano players here. You have style, you understand what is going on. You interperet dynamics to the full extent and you play every piece with beauty. Love the rubato at the end.

You are the best on here.

    Well done.

  • Absolute prodigy. I hope you all the best on your journey.

  • That's very impressive. Wish I could play like that. You must have been very dedicated to practicing piano over these past 3.5 yrs. Nice! :D

  • Very, very nice. Is Jordy your brother? I found you on his favs.

That's a beautiful sounding piano too. What size and make is it? It has a nice deep rich sound.

  • It is a Grotrian.

  • BankFace, Jordy is not my brother. If he were, I would have someone in my house to play the piano with! I think he's very nice, though! dhfeld is right, it is a Grotrian. A Grotrian 192 CS. 192 = cm. CS = Clara Schumann style. I love how it sounds, too. The tuner removed 2 pencils from under the keys yesterday, so it sounds even better. :)

  • Thank you. I love the sound of the Grotrain.

Oh! You do that too? I now know whenever I hear a clicking sound that it's my pen. lol

    :)

    Keep up the beautiful playing!

  • Beautiful, you have a real gift, I enjoy all your videos. Don't give up practising whilst everything is in your favour !!

  • Amazing, it takes all words... :)

    !!!!

  • Thanks Celia. As always, a beautiful job. Throwing away the extender was a nice touch!

  • GOOD!

  • ......wow this makes me depressed. When I was your age, I had less than HALF your talent and I started piano when I was four.....

  • Thats superb! Did you ever consider playing any Beethoven? He's got some pretty sweet stuff.

  • aww poor sweety who's forcing you to learn all that classic stuff, try listening to different genre's jazz, latin, don't stay on the classic stuff I studied classical music for 12 years and now I realize its a pain

  • What do you mean by classical music? Gottchalk? Gershwin? Stravinsky?

  • Awesome play.Keep it up. By the way you've made language mistake : you can play "Mazurka" but original name of it sounds "Mazurek" so Chopin Mazurek not Mazurka :)

  • That was cool when you threw out the pedal helper platform. GOOD FOR YOU!!! You're so talented! Keep up the awesome playing =)

  • Ok I don't think you've spent 4 months doing nothing right?? where's the next video?? it's long overdue!!!

  • tall enough without the bench eh? ;) Check out my movie sometime.

  • I can play it too, but not as good as you!!

  • fantastic

  • You have all my respect, it's a Sicilian who says that :-) All the best for your career. I hope I will manage to play these pieces, they sound so complex.

  • Holy Mackeral! You are fantastic!

You're so good, I bet you'll be able to play the minute waltz in 56 seconds! J/K (sorry, old joke! ;-) ) LOL

Really, you are marvelous, thank you!

  • haha! did u mean she play too fast?

  • You are a true inspiration! Thanks

  • oooh i love chopin!.. hes the best.. mi goal is to play ALL of his compositions..

waltzes and polonaises are my favorites..

    you rock girl..

    -ilix-

  • I don't care it is played "like a waltz"

  • brilliant!!! Whats the average time it takes you to learn a piece well?

thanks in advance for your response

  • Wow. beautiful.

  • For the first time I must have been listening to it too quiet, it was late at night... Maybe I was tipsy a bit :P

Marvelous, accuretly divided into parts, which are harmonically connected but dynamically varied. And it's played so lively. You know the atmosphere of the traditional dance of my country (I'm Polish).

  • I disagree with Nathalon. Chopin detested misplaced rubato. Oddly enough he had a very strict sense of rhythm, and even his rubato playing had a very regular beat to it. It wasn't Debussy.

I think this Mazurka was played impeccably. I could almost hear the Poles dancing in it. Congratulations on your nigh-flawless interpretation and your ability. You have a real gift.

Congratulations on getting rid of that pedal bench.

  • Incredible, I wonder how so young girl can play like that, your tecnique seem like adult pianist, and the way interpretation too. When I was your same age still don't know what is music. Over every good or bad opinion about other guys, you deserve all my attention :-).

  • A great job as always, Celia! It's funny how you started the piece by throwing away that pedal platform at the beginning. You're maturing, and so if your playing. Great job!

  • charmedbypr, thanks for looking. Getting rid of the pedal platform was a big deal to me! :)

  • pretty good for a twelve year old but as a thirteen year old boy i played his polonises and chopin's famous minute waltz!

  • jamessparky, thanks for looking. I think it's great you are able to pay his polonaises and waltzes. By the way, I'm10 years old.:)

  • oops my bad

    ;)

  • This commenting board is about her isn't it?

  • Mmm..I aggre with erpooh..This is like a waltz..remember this IS a mazurka! Get the tempo right, further great playing!

  • Silverlining101, OK. I'll think about that the next time I learn a mazurka. Thanks for looking.:)

  • BYE BYE PEDAL HELPER THING! Lol that was a funny way to start this. I love chopin but I don't know anything about his mazurkas, but you gave me a taste of one, thanks.

  • kyle, thanks for stopping by.:) He wrote a lot of Mazurkas, so I'll be there is on that is right for you.

  • Amazing job. You are truly gifted and I love listening to you play. Keep it up and I'll know you will be famous one day.

  • jack, thanks for looking and commenting. :) I will keep it up even if I don't become famous!:)

  • what I wouldn't give for a studio full of students with your talent and dedication!!! :)

  • dcstudio, thanks for looking.:) I want to teach someday.:)

  • Nicely done! Interesting -- this piece is sometimes played slower and more melancholic, but you've cheered this right up with your tempo and forte. Sounds like a real, lively "Mazurka"!

  • jasonferguson, thanks.:)

  • May I know how much time does she practice everyday?

    Very nice playing!

  • kovac, thanks for looking.:) I practice the piano about 2 hours almost every day. I also practice the violin about an hour a day.

  • You should think about dynamic more to make this piece sound more interesting and don't forget that chopin works should be played rubato. I appreciate your skills, they are growing!

  • Nathalon, thanks for looking.:) I appreciate the advice very much.

  • I disagree.

  • Wow! I've been watching the list of videos you've made and have enjoyed each one. You're playing is unbelievable! Can we make a request for your next video? Please? :)

Your Chopin is very nice. It's well articulated and phrased and your musical 'speaking / talking' is clear.

    About that request: Chopin's Nocturne Op.9 #3 - B Major? :)

  • Amonbrune, thank you so much for looking. I will work on that Nocturne as soon as I am able to. I need to bring several pieces I have already started to recital level this term. I'm also studying the violin.

  • No, no, no, Celia, I'm sorry, you're so talented but you're turning this MAZURKA into a WALTZ! Listen to the recordings of Ignaz Friedman and Moriz Rosenthal, then you know how a Mazurka should sound. Don't imitate them, but learn the true character of these pieces!

  • erpooh, I will find those recordings and listen to them. I know I have a lot to learn. Thanks for looking.:)

  • Congratulations :)

  • sellerofdreams, thanks for looking.:)

  • Throw it into the trashbin that's right, you're growing up. And what a feeling that you put into this song. So beautiful

  • neildw, I'm so glad I don't have to use it anymore! I still have to use a modified bench, though. Thanks so much for looking.:)

  • yeehhh a new one :D good job

  • tess, thanks so much for looking.:)

  • Very nice!

  • Bravo!
