  • also lengthen or shorten cable to provide smooth shifting, least amount of bend in degrees, you can buy any length you need to make it ultra smooth. Its the little details that can take away the fun of driving,so take your time,

  • Nice car, but he must be the slowest man ever to start a car!

  • Hey Jeff car sounds great thanks again for letting me come by and check it out. Can't wait to build one myself.

  • 2:41 talk about the cars smoking good looks haha. nice ride hope to get one of these or the daytona coupe in the near future

  • Give it the BEANS!!!!!!!!

  • @YdontUask Gotta be careful if you do that in a 2300lb GTM...... it is a lot of fun though.

  • im starting to love this car

  • @150peacemaker Drive one; it'll seal the deal.

  • Good job.

  • Update...

Shifter action still an issue. 1st difficult to find. Contemplating a shift gate plate.

Turbos, cannot hear them, at all. Engine drowns them out. Even at 15psi.

Will post turbo pics once I figure out how to post against this video.

  • @jhilb what kind of shifter, try adjusting detents from P,if that doesnt work, try Neutral, take your time, you will get it...

  • give us a shot of those turbos. :) and some drive-by's.

  • It may not be expensive like other cars... but it'll turn heads for sure.

  • @BradleyDPayne Most asked question...... "What is it?"

  • Please update us on your new GTM? Now that you are working at getting the bugs out of it - she sure looks like a great build! Happy Motoring - drive safe!

  • What engine trans combo are you running? Turbo'd LS1 Porsche box?

  • Correct, this was the first start after putting the body on. It's chassis #17 and it took 4 years to build.

Had a little trouble finding reverse. It's a cable shift and not smooth as I like, but it'll get there. I took it slow so as to not launch into the garage wall. Also wanted to be sure the intercooler fans were running.

There are turbos tucked neatly in the back.

  • Awesome! Who could possibly dislike this video? For those of you who may not be aware, this was probably the very first start of the car after months to years of building. You'd be very careful if it was yours. Lots of things to watch and check for on a maiden voyage. Congratulations!! I've got an FFR MKIII and am loving it.

  • Please excuse me while I go find a Kleenex. AMAZING CAR!

  • absolutely beautiful machine and congrats on starting and finishing this amazing project. Me and my dad are going to put one of these together in a couple months once we finish restoring our cobra jet. I'm just wondering what the final costs of the whole project was? not including labour obviously. It would be much appreciated! thanks

  • awesome job big thumbs up looks great sounds great ....how tall are you? you seem tall im 6'6" woundering how i would fit

  • does he know how to work the clutch? lol

  • Congrats on your build of your GTM. I'm hoping to build a FFR Cobra soon, getting ready to build my Mustang donor so I should be joining the FFR family so long as all goes well

  • Crappy engine.

  • @zzap999 knob

  • What the heck were you doing the first 90 sec?

  • Nice car, boring video.
