im very interested in school busses but im 16 im embarresed but this is a nice bus! at my school we have thomas blue bird and ic but the ic had to have thier hood painted black cuz its illigal here to have a shiny hood.
aww great, im from st james parish, and we had new busses,i bet those bad kids are gong to destroy the seats.and does the busses now has air conditioners in them,
Do you know the difference between the yellow grill and the silver grill on the front of the hood because my school district gets new blue bird visions every year and some have the yellow front and some have the silver.....The only thing that i think is different is the brakes...The yellow ones usually have hydraulic brakes and then the silver have air. Also all the exhausts have a cut out in the back bumper and i was wondering why that one was not?
That's just what my school district ordered. I think all of our Blue Bird Visions are like that. I don't think we have ones with a silver grill, just yellow ones. These buses in our district have air brakes so I guess the grill colors are just for style.
The difference between the silver and yellow grill is a spec. When you write up the specs (aka options) you want on the bus you can spec that you want gray/yellow/black (idk if black is aviliable with the 2nd gens)
I remember my boyhood church had a 1963 Ford Blue Bird 54 passenger and a 1964 GMC Blue Bird 60 passenger. These new buses are so much larger than the ones of that time, yet I still see a few styling elements similar to those old ones.
Thats what I think this bus has is a Cummins ISB-07 engine. I was going to flip the hood open for the video but the driver was in a hurry at the time. Thanks for watching
that is a nice looking bus. you are lucky to be able to go on that bus. we dont have any new bluebirds in my districts fleet, we currently have ic ce 300's
Looks weird with no black around the taillights and no black rub rail below them. I'm used to seeing that. The rest looks good.

Its weird, I hate to ride school buses, would love to drive one, and am embaressed to be interested in them.
This is a nice one, I rode an older Blue Bird Vision, it wasn't as nice as this one!

Gray is the standard color now. I like the gray.
This has nothing to do with the type of brakes.
The placement of exhaust is also a spec.
