  • The bottom is called the bell.

  • you'll have to forgive my gender colleagues. There's something lovely about a talented and pretty girl that hits a certain note in a guy.

  • You have a low level...

  • For some reason I thought this was expervillage, then I was like "why does she know what she is talking about?" Oh wait, This isnt expert village.

  • Haha, that's the bell. Embarrassing...

  • pppsssh i can play hym song phil bliss

  • can you upload a video and teach me how to play A-dur Subversion

  • the fingers can´t move a lot and your sound is like a duck.

  • i jsut got my clarinet today and i can play the c major scale (not that good though)

  • is it necessary to move a lot? Just a quick observation

  • Some people do that just to make an exageration of the music.

  • my vids are perfect for teaching u how to play

  • i watched two of ur clarinet tutorials and i have a lot of questions and comments.

    1. why is it so dark?

    2. your outside sounds are irritating and i could barely understand you

    3. were you watching cartoons?

  • @ilovetwilight508

Yeah, but you love Twilight, so no one cares.

  • I am new at this, but I think reeds probably all have the thick part (on the lower part) and the thin part at the upper half. If you tighten the ligature with any part of the thin top part clamped by the ligature you will break the reed and have to throw it away (lesson learned rapidly by me). So I think it needs to be pointed out that the ligature should only be tightened on the thick lower part of the reed. This may seem obvious, but there is a chance someone might not realize this.

  • @ilovetwilight508

alright m 6th grader and really want 2 learn how to play over the summer

  • Ooh I learned how to play Hot Cross Buns like a week ago! COOL!

  • you probably need to change reeds

  • Theres a little hole in my Reed...... when i try to play it wont work.. is it because of the hole? , well . its not a hole in the middle. its a little square at the top.. and yeah... when i try to play it wont work -_-".. yeah . someone reply ;-)?

  • You need to get new reeds. I highly recommend Vandoren reeds. They are a bit more expensive but they will help your tone greatly

  • Wow! Nice video. Ariana you´re soo cute and have a beautiful voice too! ^_^

  • Haha the bottom is called the bell, not the barrel. This video is much better than the expertvillage videos. Cool video =)

  • Oh thank you for teaching me where the wood thing gos.. thank you :)

  • hey, what is the song called that you were playing??please help me!

  • What kind of mouthpiece do you recommend? I think its a hard matter for musicians.

  • Yeah I'm 14 years old, and I'm just now learning how to play the Clarinet for my School Band, so how long does it normally take to learn it, or does it mainly depend on the students willingness to learn the Instrument?

  • iTs the willingness to learn. It could take a month to be an intermediate if you really went at it. In order to be considered as a professional you will need to play atleast 10000 hours of playing!!

  • Willingness.

    You also need the patience,

I am going on playing for three years.

You need patience to learn the notes =D.
