The "Pylon Lane" is the old tram lane. Before the Cahill Expressway, the trams used to drop down into Wynyard Station. That was cool. The trams used to cross over the top of the car lanes on the Nth Sydney side and pop into Nth Sydney station. Maybe the government could put the trams back in, that would solve a lot of traffic problems. People could the leave their stupid cars at home.
Oh, by the way, the pylons dont hold the bridge up. They just sit their looking good.
that was very cool, especially for an Aussie living abroad... and who once lived on the north shore, that was my exact route into town every day... remember when it cost 20 cent for the toll??
