  • EPIC MOVIE. EPIC BOOK.

  • I think the Lion represents the Antichrist. What he offers Jesus is what the Antichrist himself will eventually attain, a massive global empire. Plus the low, mocking voice is vastly different to the seductive nature of Satan himself.

  • very powerful scene..

  • jitpring, there is a reason for the voices chosen..

  • Could they have chosen worse voices, especially for the lion? Embarrassingly bad.

  • William Defoe is a great actor and he's hung like a horse too!

  • Willem Dafoe: in BOTH the Last Temptation of CHRIST, then fast forward: to ANTICHRIST, neh?

  • @hsrn

What do mean by this video you have posted? Please, explain and elaborate your intentions however much you can.

  • @almostblue22

the picture at the beginning is a drawing of a turkish bektashi dervish from centuries ago.

i was amazed because of the similarities between the picture and the allegories used in the movie.

the bektashi path is a mystic branch of islam.

the drawing shows a man who stands for the whole universe.

    one man - one universe.

to be a "perfect human" you have to gain control over the inner fleshly desires represented by the serpent and the lion.

then you you'll reach immortality (tree)

  • @hsrn excellent clip.

  • is the voice of the lion Scorsese...sounds like his tone maybe synthesized

  • @luis939

Isn't it Harvey Keitel, the actor who plays Judas? Maybe the flame is Scorsese.

  • i almost cried.

  • cant anyone post whole video ? please ?

  • "step in to my circle so i can pull your tongue out!" so fucking bad ass!

  • did he not give in to satan by taking the apple from the tree just like what adam did

  • very powerful clip! a wonderful and thought-provoking film.

  • does it matter, really? Bottom line is that he follows through.

I dont know about you, but i couldnt do it.

  • I love this clip. Look at the circle....it's perfect.

How many mortal men could freehand a perfect circle. :)

  • truely a masterpiece...

  • CORRECT PORTRAYAL of the Christ's indecision and demanding of God to speak to him.Christians dont seem to understand thats how he was tempted, but ultimately rejects it.
