until now, photoshop only has a few better warp functions, and costs too much for people who don't need all those extra things. of course, it's also free, and gets updated all the time. you can do most of the same things, plus a few more in gimp. the only real difference i know is that photoshop is easier to use...

You should use Overlay instead of just changing Opacity when you do make up.

Otherwise it will look fake :)

also, the artist understands layer effects, not just for the overall look, but as a labour-saving tool. Personally, I would only do artwork on my unix workstation --- Yes, there are issues with MS Win that won't go away. Also, would have selected skin and teeth with a few clicks using colour select. that's my advice. REMEMBER CHILDREN, COLOUR SELECT!!!

I love that song and you did a great job. The only time I've ever used photoshop was in school and it wasn't by choice. GIMP is better because it's free and has almost everything that Photoshop does.
