Well...I kinda felt the same way the first twenty times I heard this version. BUT suddenly it grew on me...big time...I really think this remix is i bit less (dare I say it) sugary than the original (Which I also love by the way). And therefore more suitable as a single for release.

well this is the remix for the UK singel...with this album a-ha had a great oppurtunity to really do it well but then again they/management does some weird things - above all not realese Bandstand as a singel...i cant belive it. This song is great but i aggre the album version is better...but this is not a number 2 singel song...Morten and Mags said at the Bliss interview that their favorite is Bandstand which makes it even more strange that this will not be and singel...

A-ha new album is good, still not great, but at least it is the right step back to glory. But after I heard this remix I have to say - this mix is superb! I can't believe they finally managed to record a song that can touch as deep as The sun always shines on tv and Touch me. Surely. their best song since =Dark is the night= in 1993.

This is good - better than the lead single. It has a smattering of 'The Sun Always Shines On TV' threaded ever so subtley through the track. If there was any justice, A-ha would be back scoring big hits again, but alas they are somewhat a periphery act in terms of chart success. However, this makes them even more special to the fans who know that the rest are missing out on the magic of Morten's vocal and the amazing longevity and artistry of a truly classic band.

drama and electronic pop 80's feel. The vocals

on this song as well as all of Foot of the mountain

are exceptional and scarce these days in music.

Classic stuff in the making, these songs deserve

to be heard, especially by the younger crowd who have so few real singers. 25 years + and still sounds so good. I can see "The Bandstand" as well as "Riding the Crest" as

strong singles on this collection so this cd will be around for awhile

Totally agree with u on this one.... My first thought on hearing the new album was that this is so much like the A-Ha sound of years ago.

My fav thou has to be The bandstand,amazing song and should be the next released.

This song is their next singel in the UK and 21 September is correct :) For the rest of Europe Shadowside (a new remix like this song ) is their next singel. I hope other radio station pick up this song ...not just Radio 2. Keep us updated on this if you can :) take care
