i loved the lines of the '69 ss 396 the best. it was unadorned with unnecessary chrome and was a quite elegant - as well as lean and mean - looker on the street. our family had a '68 caprice with a 396. it was loaded and just too heavy to stack up with any of the real street muscle, but could hold its with other heavy cars like the big-engined bonnevilles or oldismobiles in that era. thanks for the video. it really brings me back.
