  • well docbee2000 if it was not for our first nation people going off to fight, we as natives would have no rights as canadians or Americans we would not be allowed to vote, hold any government office. You may have your opinion of what you want to believe but that also goes both ways and I will believe in the people who fought to give me the freedom I have today. Thank you for reminding me of the ignorant people who don't know how to thank someone for doing what they thought to be right.

What we do/did to survive will be forgiven. Right now keep your head down, your eye on the skyline, your powder dry, and watch your top-knot. I'll be expecting your post around Christmas. You'll do well.

THANK A VETERAN EVERY OPPORTUNITY YOU HAVE!

  • @ndnmama Thank them for what? Are you talking to the government or capitalists who profit off the blood and sweat of our people. If I or any of my family decide to enlist its done so for experience and special training that you really can't get anywhere else. This 'thank a veteran' rhetoric is getting annoying as I don't know what, but please stop.

  • @DocBee2000 the First Nation Vets Did not serve a Country, They fought for our lands inwhich it is still ours. They served so You could Be Native , they served and died to protect what we have today . This songs for them not for us.

  • BLACK LODGE SINGERS JUST RECRUITED A NEW FAN IN JUDAH ETHIOPIA!!!! I LOVE YOU CATS!!! PEACE!! You guys are better than any church!!!! YAH BLESS!

  • 2- wait! This song can be the honor song for tribes in Peru's Amazon area. they earned it!!

  • have Kiowas heard that in Peru, 85 natives were killed! what you fought long ago now harms youre Amazonian cousins! but they nailed more than 25 cops!! righteous payback! sing an honor song for youre southern cousins courage!

  • Whatt Did Native4Life1998's Comment say??

  • Memorial Day I in the past honor the people whom fought in the lands not even theirs, laws or people didn't get along, Killing goes on, Today always well be my Momorial

Day to me and I will share in my Culture of Alaska Natives

to the younger people, the chiefs and the young males fought over land tht they know wasn't someone else, Had all rights and love for their land, you hear about the Russians, over in Alaska, and you know what, all the in richness in our Culture is beyond any limit

  • this song reminds me of my Brother Darryl, Rest in Peace brotha Soldier Boy

  • I sent this to my husband who is still in Iraq. He loved it and said it made him feel better. I am also a veteran and sometimes wish there could be a song for female veterans. Michelle - zuyapi win

  • tried to thumbs up nolights n stupid thing did the other..... won't let me switch it...

  • Finally I found this song as I started to learn from jail of getting back my life, oh I am from Alaska, they fought long

time before we was even born, back then more deaths

and the huntress they put them into,Now in 2009, to bad

the people know the words and not the feelings they went though back in them day, reason why I started late cuz of the alcohol & came jail. tho I love my dad and other people fought for our right and freedom, not like the others fought for the land,
