i messed up on one of the hypothetical questions. dang it! i was soo mad with myself as soon as I stepped out of that office. we shall see if by their scoring scale I am good enough to join the Santa Ana Police Dept.
no, I did not. I'm stupid though because it was totally achievable except I did not prepare as well as I should have beforehand. The sergeant and the recruiter that interviewed me were very nice though because they were not grilling me. The question posed to me at the time was just something I responded without hesitation...WRONG THING TO DO! THINK about ALL responses, take the time, even that is better than getting yourself into an awkward position.
i will still go for it, not with Santa Ana PD but with LAPD... i know now better about how to approach the interview phase. Also, more is better with these people. IMPRESS THEM as much as you can... but just don't be cocky. One failed interview is nothing. I was sad and disappointed but... oh well, life is full of disappointments... I will continue to try also in this agency as well *(after the 6months pass by)
