Different animals see different sections of the light spectrum. Insects see much higher than we do, that's ultra-violet, colors with a shorter wave-length than violet. Primates (that's us) can see reds, dogs and other similar animals can't, that lower end of the spectrum is invisible to them. WE call it visible light because it is visible to US.

Inside these "dust clouds" the chaotic / random formations of gas, dust and other materials "clump" together to form larger masses, which attract more matter, and eventually will become big enough to form stars... The remaining materials go on to form planets and moons. This is basic astronomy.

As far as the Miller experiment, all that needed to be done, was show that under some conditions, the formation of monomers is possible. THAT'S where the Anthropic principle comes in. If it is at all possible, given this near limitless stage of the universe, it is bound to happen at least once. And our existence is strong evidence that it happened here.

Just as a simple logic problem, pretend you have 26 wheels on a shaft (like an odometer in your car) and they each have 26 letters on them from A to Z. If you randomly spin all of them separately once per second, it would take 12 million trillion years to get them to line up from A to Z in alphabetical order. The human DNA is more complex than 26 letters.

Not to mention that killing Hitler before he did anything would be murder w/o justification. You can't kill someone on what they MIGHT do in the future. It is possible that just your presence in that timeline may alter the course of events and Hitler could have been a different person or not come to power.

Different animals see different sections of the light spectrum. Insects see much higher than we do, that's ultra-violet, colors with a shorter wave-length than violet. Primates (that's us) can see reds, dogs and other similar animals can't, that lower end of the spectrum is invisible to them. WE call it visible light because it is visible to US.

Christian CHARITIES collect a significant amount of money for cancer research. Atheists, like me, donate much of that money. BTW, I used to work for Catholic Charities, I worked with 1 christian and 12 atheists, don't give Christians credit for all the work done within "Christian" organizations. It's just easier for a charity to be established when it has religious ties, plus many charities exist from over a century ago, when ties to a church were just expected.

Well the bulk of the commandments are total nonsense anyway, so I'm not sure how "5 You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I the Lord your God am a jealous God, punishing children for the iniquity of parents, to the third and the fourth generation of those who reject me," is going to help lower crime rates.
What would help is proper education and tougher laws. Look at Japan which is 100 % atheist. There crime rates are MINIMAL compared to the US.

Sure. We see the same thing happening in nebulae. Inside these "dust clouds" the chaotic / random formations of gas, dust and other materials "clump" together to form larger masses, which attract more matter, and eventually will become big enough to form stars... The remaining materials go on to form planets and moons. This is basic astronomy.

What you should be looking at is The Drake Equation. That will let you estimate how many life supporting planets exist using some realistic numbers.

This is hilarious. Supposedly intelligent people making up theories with no scientific evidence and then stating it as a fact. What would be the "obvious reason" for a single cell detecting light and deciding it needed to become an eye? What intelligence told the cell that being able to detect light and focus it and see an object was useful? Talk about faith. I do not have enough faith to believe in evolution.

You are also in error thinking the organism chooses or wants the eye. Evolution has no goal. No consciousness. No plan. No reasons. It makes no decisions.
Evolution does not require your 'faith'; it is a FACT and will continue regardless of your beliefs.

That is correct, that there are some scientists who believe in god, but they also know that evolution is a fact. So therefore IS zero debate.
Now, there are some 'scientists' who say that evolution is not real and that creationism is the truth, but they are scientists in name only. They do not follow the scientific method. They do not follow the evidence but only acknowledge evidence that supports their preconceived notion, and that is dishonest science.

If you do not agree with me then I plug my ears and say to everyone "No one has debated me on this" THERE IS A LOT OF DEBATE BY VERY WELL EDUCATED SCIENTISTS. They by the way follow the scientific method and since no one has run the experiment to prove the THEORY, their conclusion is more scientific than yours.

I have never heard of anyone testing the hypothesis of evolution and then analyzing the data. When was this experiment run to verify the theory. Where are all the missing link fossils? There should be billions of them.

They do not CHOOSE to live there. These are cave fish that just can't up and move somewhere else. They are stuck there! They live there as that is their niche. They do start to grow eyes when developing but the partially grown eyes are then covered by flesh and skin.

@YashinNashi I'm assuming you are using the Miller-Urey experiment as your evidence for amino acids forming. This experiment was created with no oxygen present, which we have no reason to believe it was ever absent in our atmosphere. They made changes that aren't scientifically backed up.

I'm using the UNIVERSE as evidence that amino acids form all the time, everywhere. They've even been found on asteroids. As far as the Miller experiment, all that needed to be done, was show that under some conditions, the formation of monomers is possible. THAT'S where the Anthropic principle comes in. If it is at all possible, given this near limitless stage of the universe, it is bound to happen at least once. And our existence is strong evidence that it happened here.

The idea of oxygen being produced later by early bacteria is well supported. The evidence is not as substantial as some people might like, but it fits perfectly with the fossil record, the timing for the early stromatolite fossils and the Cambrian explosion (large animals made possible by use of newly present oxygen).

However it would have been more prudent to research the matter further, or ask for resources. Regarding the anthropic principle; if the best answer that science can come up is "well we're here...." and just toss the scientific method right out the window. It sure sounds like a leap of faith to me. Not very scientific now is it?

By the way, the human DNA is very complex and the chances of it occurring by chance are so small as to be zero. Just as a simple logic problem, pretend you have 26 wheels on a shaft (like an odometer in your car) and they each have 26 letters on them from A to Z. If you randomly spin all of them separately once per second, it would take 12 million trillion years to get them to line up from A to Z in alphabetical order. The human DNA is more complex than 26 letters.

Using the Hubble telescope they now estimate there are 70000000000000000000000 STARS in the viewable universe of Hubble. 7 with 22 zeros. Most stars put out more energy than our sun. That's a lot of power. Where did that power come from?

Not to mention that killing Hitler before he did anything would be murder w/o justification. You can't kill someone on what they MIGHT do in the future. It is possible that just your presence in that timeline may alter the course of events and Hitler could have been a different person or not come to power.
