How to you make the viewfinder?

Drill a 3/8" hole in the end of the plastic film can and cut a rectangle out of the lid (x-acto knife) in either a 4:3 ratio or 16:9 ratio. I make a template in card stock and then trace it onto the plastic cap.

i like your idea of printing on the clear plastic.

One thing though, you said how you really dont need a clapper since shooting on video the audio and video are linked up. That is true if you are only using one camera. Im shooting with 3 cameras and use the clapper to get all cameras into sync. Keep up the good work. Always helpful to learn something new. :)
