I'm trying to switch my fork on my mountain bike and i can't get the handlebars to screw back into the fork. The forknut does not screw all the way down to the washer and hand nut which leaves about a 1/2 in gap. I have all the parts on exactly like this in order
is it ALWAYS like this that the lower bearings neede to built in that way (looking up)? I did it yesterday and in my fork it fitted better the other way..
Great video! I'll have to take the fork off a cruiser eventually and this showed me exactly how easy the process was. Excellent information.

cool, just bought a beach cruiser the other day. anyone know a simple way to strip the paint? i don't want to use a solution less necessary.
